77 year old guy trying to get off....they should build a statue of him

I can't even find this story on CNN now, FWIW. He'll get fined by the NFL, maybe a suspension. But it seems like the media has decided they're on to something else.

yeah...you know one would think he's taking his life in his hands, er...her hands at that age. Plus,in light of the suppositions that Bob may be a bit senile, wouldn't that massage woman be considered to be contributing to the delinquency of an elder? This arrest has opened a Pandora's box of ethical questions that I'm sure will be hashed and rehashed by the generals and staff of the Social Justice Warrior Army for the next two years at least.

How much was this sting motivated by the need for law enforcement to look like they are not ignoring such crimes after Epstein skated?

Because it was much bigger than a few John busts and a single establishment, and the people supporting this are incredibly powerful and connected.

This who thing is blowing up huge in South Florida right now because of Jeffrey Epstein, whose friends list looks like an international who's who of the powerful.

They had Epstein dead to rights (dozens of victims) - a lifetime sentence guaranteed. The Florida AG gave him a few months of partial house arrest, didn't make him register as a sex offender, and then was appointed as the US Secretary of Labor.

The operation in Jupiter knew they had to be bullet-proof before taking out hte handcuffs.

It's equally as important to gather evidence to shut down the operation for the long term.
The ample seminal and witness evidence would have been enough to not only shut them down, but ignite on an investigation of the actual traffiickers themselves instead of potential famous johns that may not only generate publicity, but enable many who likely do similar **** to grind their axe.

The motives of our local, state and federal governments are not obscured to those who have shed even a tiny fraction of our cultural brain-washing.

There used to be a very effective solution to the age-old problem of prostitution . . . marriage. Sadly, this institution has been severely undermined over the years.
Your take says on this says a helluva lot more about your perspecitve than anything that exists in the real world.

There is a growing outcry now that the Miami Herald is putting out the truth about Epstein and his deal. So yeah, I'd be surprised if that wasn't part of it.

I'm sorry.;..maybe I'm a cheap ba$tard but...there's no fargin' way I'm paying anybody 70 bucks to rub my back. I've been around the block and I've known what a "massage" parlor is since my teens. You have to be comatose, blind and undersmart not to know WTF an oriental "massage" parlor is.

Is it something like this?

either that or someone stopped getting paid off...I'm sorry but half you people should try out for the lead of Pollyanna in "La Dee Dah...We Live On Sunnybrook Lane", the new G Rated social justice smash hit. Newsflash...there's corruption EVERYWHERE. There's whores doing what whores do and johns looking for them in every corner of this country. The politicians in this country aren't anything if not corrupt. Haven't you been watching? Some local yokel hack magistrate doesn't get his envelope or sees his polling numbers dropping, he calls the cops and demands a "crackdown!". This happens with regularity from Bayonne to Biscayne, Idaho to dyamed if I know. Yet here you are like a flock of ostriches suddenly pulling your heads out the sand to cackle up a storm of indignation. Ridiculous.

?????

Victorian London, anyone? Sky-high marriage rates, and a legendary concentration of brothels.

Where do you live? In the friendly confines of New England?
In Columbus, my phone blew up with comments and memes and every where I see people I know are snickering.

No, I live in New Orleans and on top of the memes and snickering I have to listen to their BS about how if it were them they’d lose their whole draft but because it’s the Pats they’ll skate (they’re still angry over their bounty gate penalty.)

Still, so what? We won the super bowl, the owner getting caught in a spa getting a tug isn’t my problem.

Still do not get it, if these women were potentially in danger why wait?? Or were they waiting for the really big fish at the possible expence of them??

These women should not be used as pawns in this game.. if they were in danger, as it seems they were, take care of them first.

That's what I've been saying all along and I don't care who they were waiting for to walk in there, it's still not worth allowing even just one of these women to be used in such a way. If your true concern is stopping the exploitation, then you stop it. You don't let it continue for months, FILM it (which furthers the humiliation) and then act all high and mighty once the warrants come out.

It's the oldest business in the world. You're not going to embarrass enough johns to kill it off. They've been trying for years. What they allowed to continue for these poor women is sickening. And I'm someone who is generally sympathetic to law enforcement. This one was handled tragically.

This is embarrassing for Kraft but it isn’t the crime of the century. He got a hand job at a spa. The real crime is the owner who kept those girls as slaves.

If I’m Kraft I’m calling a press conference this week. Admit to his actions. Say he had no clue those girls were involved in sex trafficking and he feels horrible for them. Say he’s making a sizeable donation to a sex trafficking charity which he’s already supported and that he will look to help the girls who were kept at that spa. If they are legally able to stay in the country he will buy them a condo and help them get real employment. Try to turn a bad into a good for them.

He’s much better to face this head on and put it to rest. If he fights it he keeps it in the news which the NFL doesn’t want and it will make his punishment harder. A year from now all we’ll hear from this is other fanbases making jokes our owner likes a happy ending.

After a day of thinking about it, I'm onto the 2019 season. If Kraft knew they were slaves (honestly, I think he did but feel free to disagree) then screw him. However, I only care about football with my Patriots. Ring 7 here we come.

The only "issue" is whether Kraft knew that these were sex slaves, there under duress. If so, he will hand the reigns over to Jonathan. If not, he'll do as you posted, make solid statements, and contribute lots to the appropriate charities, which could even included making prostitution legal in more states.
