Be honest guys. No homer replies.

How bad is this? Are we a laughing stock right now?
Just my opinion, but I see this as more about Bob Kraft the individual than the Patriots franchise/team. It wouldn't be unexpected to see Jonathan now become the face of and spokesman for ownership.

If caught on camera it is worse than bad for him and the league.
There was a legal reason the NFL didn't(doesn't) purchase these videos like TMZ.
The NFL cannot simply buy and bury their existence.

If TMZ or someone else gets a hold of this video it becomes a nightmare for the NFL.
Let's hope there is no video of a Robert Kraft sex act is my hope.
A money shot will be crippling .........

Lol. I would hope he produced a money shot. Wouldn’t like to think this whole ordeal was a complete waste of money for him.

They have said definitively that he's not knowingly involved.

How did they say that? By charging him with a pair of Florida misdemeanors that carry a max of 60 days in jail (not that he'll ever see the inside of a cell).

If he were knowingly involved with it you're talking multiple state and federal felonies and he'd be in pre-trial jail right now.
Exactly. Of course news outlets like keeping it ambiguous, but it’s primarily a lot of the headline readers that can’t make that distinction. Sounds all too familiar with other things going on in the news and our country.

Very important distinction that seemingly hasn’t been hammered home to the haters.

Nope. BK looks like an idiot and his reputation took a hit but you ask fans from any other team they would take the trade off of our success for some bad press involving our owner.

Disagree. We're absolutely a laughing stock right now. Anyone who doesn't think that is delusional, it doesn't matter how many Super Bowls we won.

This was the story of the day nationally. It's been less than 12 hours since it broke. You can't draw any conclusions about what the consensus is about how it makes us look. Most people on this thread have heard from non-Pats fan friends who had some dumb joke about it. If this had been Irsay, or Jerry Jones, this whole board would be absolutely crushing the Colts / Cowboys right now, for good reason.

This is the scene outside the massage parlor right now:

And on Friday afternoon, shortly after the Bob Kraft news broke, it’s full of people seeking, more than anything else, a memorable photograph. The area in front of Orchids is so clogged with gawkers taking smartphone photos and videos that car traffic backs up along the curb. For the most part, no one is honking—virtually every car that passes has at least one person taking video out of an open window. The rare drivers there to do actual business generally seem too confused by the crowd of onlookers to notice why the line isn’t moving; the one time a horn is heard, it comes from a man who is impatient about pulling his SUV in front of Orchids, so that he can pause and take his own video.

The conversation on the shaded sidewalk in front of Orchids is all about Bob Kraft. A local reporter grabs anyone passing by for a quote or perspective. She tells me people have been trickling by for selfies and Instagram videos since the morning, before Kraft’s name was even in it, but that the crowd has grown noticeably since the morning press conference. An NBC Boston reporter grabs a grandmotherly woman with a heavy New England accent, who tells her she’s here on vacation and is inclined to give Kraft the benefit of the doubt, because he’s “a good man” who has done so much for Boston and for “the National Football League.” A photographer coaxes a triumphant barefoot man in a Giants t-shirt into shouting “Go New York Post” for a brief cell phone video. A beaming elderly fellow is saying “Perverted Patriots!” over and over again, because, he explains, soon the phrase is going to be “a thing.”

Whether you care if people are laughing at us is up to you. I don't, for the most part, because I'm used to it after SpyGate, DeflateGate, TB12 magic pajamas, and everything else. I've built up a pretty good defense system. But that doesn't mean that the whole country is gleefully jumping on this story as a way, in their envious minds, to bring us down.

Lol. I would hope he produced a money shot. Wouldn’t like to think this whole ordeal was a complete waste of money for him.
I hope not ... if there is merely video of him in there or on a table with a towel he'll be fine.

IMO the good this man has done far outweighs anything he did in those 2 visits.
But I'm, not naive ... sex tapes can ruin anyone's legacy ... this is the world we live in.
A sex tape - money shot - with a women who may be a proverbial slave is a horrendous look.

Okay so here’s a question that perhaps Michael McCann could take a crack at.

Let’s suppose that the video contains the graphic sex scene with Kraft and the woman, but there’s no money exchanged on the video, and Kraft is claiming he believed it was consensual.

If it’s argumentative about Kraft’s knowledge and whether or not he actually committed a crime, then what is the video at that point? Because it would appear to be law enforcement taping two individuals engaged in a sexual act without their permission. Wouldn’t this be a massive lawsuit and gag order just waiting to happen? I mean, if you can’t prove 1000% that this isn’t prostitution and Kraft is presumed innocent, how can this video be released? Sexual acts are not a crime; soliciting prostitution is.

I'm seriously shocked that in 2019 people still get offended by prostitution. If this was NV or one of many European cities, it wouldn't be a story because its legal. Its idiotic that location changes peoples moral stance.

There really is no good reason for prostitution to be looked down upon, let alone be illegal. Consenting adults can have sex for free but can't pay... It's religious idiots fault. The same politicians and clergymen who vilianize prostitution are the ones who get caught soliciting it...

The only thing this does is show that Kraft at 77 still has sex drive. Good for him!!

Next time im in Amsterdam I might actually head into on of the rooms in the red light district in support of Kraft.

I'll borrow from Fitzy, everyone that is offended by prostitution can GFY.

Poor Kraft...

"I said turn, pimp"
"I'm not a pimp!"

Yep so many New Yorkers have no issue with killing a baby when a pregnant women is in her third trimester, yet a guy getting a happy ending is the devil because he’s the Pats owner and they’re Jets, Giants, and Bills fans. Okay.

"According to the Yelp reviews for the Orchids of Asia Day Spa, massages can cost up to $80. Many in the reviews, which are largely mixed, say that customers were also automatically charged a tip. The website for the spa has a slogan reading, “A Full-Service Day Spa with a Touch of the Orient.” The website advertises an “Early Bird” special offering an hour-long massage for $64."
You're right about the Yelp reviews being mixed. People seem to either love or hate this place. One of the positive reviews is by a guy from Newton, MA who says he goes there every chance he gets and has given gift certificates for the place to his mother. A few Christmases ago, I gave my 86-year-0ld mother a gift certificate to a massage parlor as well, although as far I know it didn't have the table shower option. But she probably wouldn't have been into that anyway.

I believe police claim the video shows the entire transactional process from payment to service rendered.

The legality is so screwed up. I mean, where is the line anyway? Can I pay for a hug, tug job, makeout, where does it go from ok to in handcuffs. The govt doesnt belong regulating sex between consenting adults, money shouldn't change anything.

It is BAD for the Krafts, obviously, and the organization. He embarrassed it.

That being said my NFL loyalty is to the legacy of Belichick, Brady and the onfield success. There is no impact on that.

Shame on Robert, the idiot. Just the fact that he allegedly needed to solicit a prostitute is pathetic. That best be the worst of his awareness and involvement.

I could not agree more.

The issue is these women were not "consenting."

Legalize and regulate it and many of these issues go away.

What exactly is pathetic about prostitution... I dont get it. Its just sex...
