Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Very slim chance Kraft didn't know these women were traffiked.
That's quite the leap of faith
That didn't take long

I don't get these guys that think this is a non-story. The NFL will legit try to eff the Patriots on this. There's no question in my mind. I'm sure there's idiots down in the leagues office celebrating that they can"take the empire down". Not even a question in my mind. They threw the book at them about camera placement, suspended Brady because they could according to the collective bargaining, and this will be a three strikes thing. IMO, people who think the NFL won't over react to this are not paying attention to what really goes on.
It's a HUGE story. Kraft no doubt will be fined and suspended over it and his public profile never will be the same. It really is a shame considering all the good he's done for charity, etc.

2 names I am hearing that are bigger than Kraft is Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods!

Yeah, I could see someone like that. Or could it be LT again!

I threw "Perkins" Woods out to my buddies on a group text earlier when Schefter said there are bigger names....then again he's easy to pick given his history and the fact he lives nearby

Oh yeah, the end is definitely coming soon with or without this. Brady is 42 and has consistently said he wants to play until he's 45, and Belichick is 66 and on record saying he won't be coaching into his 70s. Even by their own optimistic assessments, it's pretty clear they're both nearing the end and a few years ago I kinda transitioned into just enjoying that this run lasted way longer than I had any right to hope for than dreading that the inevitable ending is approaching as all inevitable things do.

I just don't see a link, however, between that and Bob Kraft getting caught with prostitutes. Basically, if this of all ****ing things is what ends everything, then it'll just be the straw that broke the camel's back and it was about to happen one way or another regardless.

Well, think about all the good TB12 and BB have accomplished in the past 18 seasons together. And then their owner goes out and does this. There's no getting around the embarrassment of it. The stain (no pun intended) that it leaves. And then think about how much media BS does BB want to deal with about it? Ditto for TB12. So yeah, there's plenty of reason they might just say "eff it we're done here". All of the previous scandals were football related and brought on by rival organizations. THIS was brought on by the owner of their own organization. It's not exactly the Patriot way.

This is the dipshit who makes a starting lineup each year for female teachers sexually assaulting their students. His opinion has no worth.
Yeah it was more for the headline and less for the article itself.

If he is disciplined by the league for a solicitation charge (assuming the charge even sticks - if you pardon the expression) he will be the first in history to be so disciplined.

As for Patriots fans, I would hope we've all developed a thick enough skin not to be bothered by the idiot opinions of others.

My bet is that formal discipline will never become an issue because as we speak, Bob is being quietly but firmly pressured into handing over the reins of his team without delay. There will be an announcement that he is "stepping back from day-to-day operations" because "he doesn't want to be a distraction from the extraordinary accomplishments of the players, coaches, and the entire Patriots organization."

Then the league will pretend he never existed. No "Lamar Hunt Trophy"-style honors, no well-earned Hall of Fame induction. He will be disappeared, just-a-misdemeanor be damned.

So will he still be awarded the Israelly Nobel prize thing? Can he say he was just in a Freudenabteilung?

What about Irsay? What about Jerruh?

There is no way Kraft knew there was sex trafficker involvement.

If there were minors involved, he's cooked either way.

My bet is none of that is happening. Kraft will pay a fine.

Can’t wait for Irsay to chime in to say Kraft has to go.

I know a guy who has done work at Johnathans house & he told me years ago that Johnathan is a regular with the escorts.

I agree completely.

So the "overly boiled down reasons for why" come down to (from my seat)

A. He is so effing aloof that he couldn't put 2 and 2 together. i.e. Krafty Bob may be a wizard in the boardroom but is a clown when it comes to common sense.

B. The "sex trafficing/slave" aspect of it heightened the "excitement" of it all in a "Taken/True Detective Season 2" sorta way.

Pretty much, yeah, although I do think there's another possibility that could be C or could be a subset of A. Where you didn't realize it, not because you're a complete dunce but because you've lived in a consequence-free bubble insulated from any real world problems for so long that it never even occurs to you to care enough to wonder. Basically, to not consider the overwhelmingly likelihood that you're participating in sex trafficking by soliciting at a place like that, you're either a complete dunce or you just have such callous disregard for the epidemic that you don't care enough to even consider that a world exists outside of you and your immediate urges.

Tom's IG, a picture of Gisele, how much he loves her. Nothing to see here, move along.

The comments :)

Just a guy minding his business and loving his wife.

We should have a human trafficking task force that works in conjunction with China, Korea, Russia, South American countries etc. and target the pimps before they are able to set up shop on our lands. These pimps who lie, manipulate, abduct, take prisoner, or strip away the dignity of an innocent victim should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Our society is hyper sexualized and there are countless of hypocrisies and contradictions when you look at what sexual things are legal and sensationalized(one night stands, sugar babies, gold diggers, not to mention really crazy things) and compare that to a sensual rub and tug by 2 consenting adults behind closed doors.
The criminals entering our country and manipulating humans to work for them are the evil doers, not a guy struggling with intimacy who fancies a human touch by a willing adult.

Kraft is worth $6B. It would have been trivially easy for him to make damn sure he was soliciting from a willing adult and not a sex slave, and by going to the place he went he basically made a point of not doing that. I could not care less if a 77 year old dude wants to pay money to get his rocks off, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect him to exercise a bare minimum of care in ensuring that his money is going toward a willing, non-coerced person and not a trafficked sex slave.
