Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

By the way, this type of "prostitution" was entirely legal in Rhode Island until 2009.

And based on a good friend of mine's statements, still readily available even with the change in legality.

I'm not really sure what the problem is here, that seems perfectly accurate and in line with everything that's been reported so far.

If you don't want your charges linked to human trafficking, don't go to seedy asian massage parlors where the workers don't speak English to get your handjobs.

He paid for "value" once too often.

Without knowing all the details on the trafficking part of the story, that is the biggest takeaway for me as well.

Someone worth $6.6B could get a handy one would figure just about anywhere they wanted (in terms of establishments that offer such services).

The fact he picked out a strip mall massage parlor where Joe Dirt gets his is really a moment in WTF history.

That you would risk, if nothing else, your "reputation" for that that, is sorta staggering. Fly to Vegas man, its legal and they got adult Disney World style brothels.

Yeah, and if he'd done it that way, I'd be the first person defending him here basically saying "who cares what consenting adults do to/for each other? He did nothing wrong." For a guy with his kind of money, it's trivially easy to get your rocks off without supporting sex trafficking, but I guess he couldn't be bothered?

Because Kraft is a dumbass and ignored every red flag in the book the go get a hand job from a likely sex slave, he got his ass arrested and now he's a headline and will be a national punching bag for a few days and his reputation is destroyed and he deserves all of it.

Myra in heaven must be real proud of Bob today.

Aaaand Barstool is off to the races

Free Kraft Tee
That didn't take long
Yeah, given that a) this is breaking in the deadest part of the offseason and b) there's a very good chance that it will result in a change of team ownership, a 35+ page thread for this seems awfully warranted.

I don't get these guys that think this is a non-story. The NFL will legit try to eff the Patriots on this. There's no question in my mind. I'm sure there's idiots down in the leagues office celebrating that they can"take the empire down". Not even a question in my mind. They threw the book at them about camera placement, suspended Brady because they could according to the collective bargaining, and this will be a three strikes thing. IMO, people who think the NFL won't over react to this are not paying attention to what really goes on.

Yeah I just got sent this. Sigh.

When this is the lengths people have to go to to **** on your 6x Super Bowl champ QB, I just take it an implicit acknowledgement that they've got no actual ammo.

Police say they have video. Kraft denies it. Who do we believe?

I would say, all this gives the Pats the motivation to go all in on another "F**K You!!" tour next season...........oh wait.....

I agree completely.

So the "overly boiled down reasons for why" come down to (from my seat)

A. He is so effing aloof that he couldn't put 2 and 2 together. i.e. Krafty Bob may be a wizard in the boardroom but is a clown when it comes to common sense.

B. The "sex trafficing/slave" aspect of it heightened the "excitement" of it all in a "Taken/True Detective Season 2" sorta way.

We should have a human trafficking task force that works in conjunction with China, Korea, Russia, South American countries etc. and target the pimps before they are able to set up shop on our lands. These pimps who lie, manipulate, abduct, take prisoner, or strip away the dignity of an innocent victim should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Our society is hyper sexualized and there are countless of hypocrisies and contradictions when you look at what sexual things are legal and sensationalized(one night stands, sugar babies, gold diggers, not to mention really crazy things) and compare that to a sensual rub and tug by 2 consenting adults behind closed doors.
The criminals entering our country and manipulating humans to work for them are the evil doers, not a guy struggling with intimacy who fancies a human touch by a willing adult.

I'm no Law Talking Guy but having video of a sex act is not necessarily evidence of prostitution.
