Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Sure, I can see that, but we're talking Belichick here. He divorced the Jets on a napkin over "concerns about ownership".

Those concerns were of a completely different nature than these ones. BB, arguably to a fault, only cares about how things will affect his football operation. He has never cared about associating with "good people".

Oh great.....: there goes our 1st round draft pick for 2019.

Yup and so ridiculous that Belichick will have had enough and walk away on top.

I have to assume you're trolling because if you get this hysterical over this I don't know how you manage to get yourself out of bed in the morning and live your life.

FYI: three players in the last 20 years have been arrested for solicitation. None of them were disciplined by the league.

I wonder what the Venn diagram would look like of the married men here on Patsfans who have gotten a BJ or a tug from a rub joint, and the folks on this thread who find what Kraft did to be wrong.

Don’t care what Bob does. He lost quite a bit of respect from me for throwing Tom to the wolves. I root for the team not the owner, if he’s this dumb let’s kick off the Jonathan era.

Yeah, same pretty much. I was never really in the business of lionizing Bob Kraft and found it weird how some people did. I thought it was cool that he would come out and shake our hands and talk to us whenever we tailgated before taking over Qualcomm Stadium, but other than that? I've openly disliked him for a few years now, and have if anything found him to be a consistent embarrassment since Myra died. It seems only fitting that this is how he would go out, rather than quietly handing over the team with an ounce of dignity intact.

Maybe you can't know "for sure", but if the establishment you go to is the type of establishment that has sex slaves for most of its workforce, you don't get to say "I had no idea there were trafficked people here!"

And he didn't just happen to wander in there. It was arranged.

This is not good. It's terrible and there is no excuse for it. This will have an effect on him, his family, his friends and his business.

But there is really only one thing he can do at this time. Fall on his knees and confess his sins to God.

A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.

Psalm 51

51 Have mercy on me,1 O God,

according to your steadfast love;

according to your abundant mercy

blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,

and cleanse me from my sin!

3 For I know my transgressions,

and my sin is ever before me.

4 Against you, you only, have I sinned

and done what is evil in your sight,

so that you may be justified in your words

and blameless in your judgment.

5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,

and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6 Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being,

and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;

wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8 Let me hear joy and gladness;

let the bones that you have broken rejoice.

9 Hide your face from my sins,

and blot out all my iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,

and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from your presence,

and take not your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation,

and uphold me with a willing spirit.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,

and sinners will rreturn to you.

14 Deliver me from sbloodguiltiness, O God,

O God of my salvation,

and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.

15 O Lord, open my lips,

and my mouth will declare your praise.

16 For you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it;

you will not be pleased with a burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;

a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

************, Bob. This is so dumb. A billionaire paying for sex is so stupid.

not so quick on this. You don't pay a ho to *$&^ you, you pay her to leave. (From movie Four Brothers).

I would say even at his age, he is inundated with gold diggers. ( a whole 'nother song about that). LOL

I assume it would look like close to two distinct circles. Barely anyone here thinks what he did was wrong. Stupid, definitely. Maybe human trafficking was involved, and that would be terrible, but he wouldn't have had anything to do with that and nobody here is accusing him of such a thing.

He is pretty consistent with his trolling.

A 33 page thread for a misdemeanor. I can't roll my eyes hard enough.

Misdemeanor vs. felony only matters in terms of how much trouble Bob is in with the legal system. When it comes to how much trouble he's in with the league and the public--and how much crap every Patriots fan is going to take over this for the next decade--it's totally immaterial.

Belichick's been working closely with Jonathan Kraft for years, now. If he's uncomfortable with the prospect of JK's ownership, then sure, I guess this could be the catalyst for him retiring, but at this point JK strikes me as most likely a far more stable and less distracting owner than RK, and unless we get some/any kind of evidence to the contrary I suspect Belichick at least feels like it's a wash, if not the same way.

I hope you're right.

Yeah, given that a) this is breaking in the deadest part of the offseason and b) there's a very good chance that it will result in a change of team ownership, a 35+ page thread for this seems awfully warranted.
