Trent Brown saying right things

In the end he walks though

He also mentioned midway through the season something about "hitting the lottery" in the offseason. Someone will give him a Nate Solder deal.

That would be a huge mistake imo. Could easily revert back to his old self and be exposed as a product of Scar.

He was no scrub in SF playing in a pathetic offense.

Picking up Brown & he sliding into the vacant LT role was one of the best moves in the League. That said, I think Wynn replaces him and NE’s line stays more than solid again in 2019.

1.9M was a huge bargain. What he will get on the open market will far outpace that.

I’m sure he will get offers, but a “Nate Solder deal” would mean he becomes the highest paid OL in NFL history.

Tag and trade

That’s what scares me about him. Could get fat and happy ala Alan Branch.

Really over Flowers
Yes. You have a QB who is going to be 42 going into next season and you need to revamp your WR corp. The line is key. Keeping Brown would absolutely shore it up and keep it dominant. Add Wynn and if he's even 75% of what we think he is, we'll be set there for several years.

The Patriots need to make him the #1 FA priority.

NFW, the Pats have shown time and again they are excellent when it comes to finding and coaching up o-lineman. Flowers is the much more difficult player to replace

I'd love to have last year's O-line with Wynn developing alongside...
BUT
If Brown isn't ready to sign a team-friendly deal (unlikely), then we will manage with finding proper replacement. I think.
