Rosen to Dolphins rumors.

Doesn’t look like a rumor just speculation. I didn’t see much Rosen, but from what I did see I don’t know if this kid has it. Goff as a rookie I could tell he had potential despite his poor cast, Rosen I dunno..

Murray is not a can’t miss prospect - few QBs are. Awful risky to go that high with vertically challenged QB. Mayfield appears he will be successful, but he is taller and I think is more intensely competitive. We are approaching Eddie LeBaron territory. Could end up with little to show for 2 high first round picks.

Lock is my number 1 QB in this draft that fits the Pats.
If he makes it past the Giants we should pounce if we are looking for a franchise guy to learn behind Tom.

Doug Flutie was 5' 10".

I’d take Rosen easily over Murray. They’re not playing college football, and Rosen still has very high potential as his game was built for the pro offense. Murray is a classic dual threat college QB, and we see guys like this every year who are overhyped. I watched a bunch of Murray highlights and didn’t see much at all to make me believe he can be successful in the NFL.

I think the assumption is Mayfield looks good, so Murray should be also. Bad assumption IMO.

Murray seems destined for the top 10, now lower than MIA at 13. And yes, the hype and draft predictions are similar to Mayfield.

However, Murray is severely vertically challenged. Who is the shortest starter for a playoff team, for a winning team? How many of the top TEN quarterbacks in this draft are shorter than 6 feet? [none, I think]

Article should just concede this is an idea, not any actual reason for speculation.
Speculation is speculation.

I would speculate that MIA would draft Murray at 13 if he is there, and consider moving up to #8, to where is he is likely to be drafted.

Amid the Kyler Murray rumors, is Josh Rosen on his way to Miami?

Makes too much sense not to happen.
Could you imagine if Cardinals get a first and get to draft Murray.
Welcome to 2019. An NFL coach made a comment a year ago about an opponent when he was a college coach about to face the heisman candidate.
Therefore when he eventually gets an nfl job he must hate the qb they drafted #1 last year and will go against every analysis and draft this guy #1.
Kingsbury has already refuted this thinking.

May be unfair on my part but all I can envision in regards to Murray in the pros is the Quentin Coryatt hit from years ago on some poor sap from TCU (I believe)

My eyes tell me, if Drew Brees is 6 foot 205, Murray isn’t 5’10 195...

Doug Flutie was not a NFL franchise QB
Doug Flutie has a 92-66 record as a starter, much better than supposed "franchise"qbs who WERE given the chance like Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf, R Griffin, Brady Quinn, Jamarcus Russell, David Carr etc....and just let me add...

"TOUCHDOWN BOSTON COLLEGE! HE DID IT, HE DID IT, FLUTIE DID IT"

Said it last year, and I'm sticking to my guns Rosen will never be a franchise QB. Please god, let him come to South Beach!

Flutie was 38-28 as an NFL starter with a QB rating of 76.3. I liked Flutie and was happy for what success he had but his ceiling was middling NFL starter. Have not really seen Murray play but I am highly skeptical of his long term success if he is under 5'10" and expects to run for much of his success. Just do not see how he can last.

What's the deal with Josh Rosen. Is he supposed to be good?
