At 39:50 did someone say something about wes welker?

Jules was so subdued. He did not look happy at all except when he picked the baby up.

I wish people would give McVay a break. He was respectful to BB and tried to rally his team in his leadership style. It worked for a whole season for him. He could be a super arrogant ass with the way the media has hyped him but seemed level headed to me.

It wasn't nearly the ball washing the edit on Inside the NFL showed it to be. It was a little back and forth. I certainly agree with one of the panelists (he who must not be named) on the show that said McV went too far and should've had that conversation in the pre-season or over dinner.

I actually came away really liking McVay, as I stated before. He seems super nice and he’s obviously a good young coach. But he was outmatched for sure.

I also thought that the Showtime edit did him no favors. Mic’d Up is just a better show.

McVay got outcouched, realized it, and gave an unqualified response, I BLEW IT, I got outcoached. And he did. Precisely because of this, I see him doing well, with his players being committed to him. The shys the limit for him. As far as Mic Up, what do the players wear who are miked? Is it visible? I am actually surprised Belichick would allow to being Miced, seems contraty to his stony silence, when he is dedicated to give away NOTHING of how he thinks, and how he plans.

Don’t think for a second that McVay is not supremely confident in his abilities or that he did not go in believing he could match BB and that the Rams would win. You do not get where he is at age 32 without ability AND confidence. He was ballwashing Bill, and Bill was having none of it.
