I’m hoping they bring him back. He’ll be most of a year removed from the ACL injury so hopefully he looks like he’s coming along by then. Any way to bring him back and carry him on PUP if needed? We know it’s not likely anyone else is gonna be trying to sign him.

Players love to take shot at their old teams, just ask fkers like Dion Lewis and Blount. The Pats revived their career. In LG's case, they did it twice. They cannot rot hard enough.

Watched every game this year, as I always do. Legitimately forgot we had even signed him until this broke on Yahoo. Seems a bit petty. But he does have a point about being a human being. Sad that people feel the need to crap on a complete stranger over a mistake in a football game. That says a lot more about them than it does him.

Blount kind of did the same thing too with Steeler fans a couple years ago after he won one with the Pats.

He was on the duck boat yesterday.

He got a SB ring. What about practice squad players who were released in October/November? Do they get one?

Typically players on the 53 at some point in the year and the practice squad players will get rings. If you mean practice squad players released very early in the year, it’s up to the team. I assume they wouldn’t unless they somehow contributed something valuable to practice while they were here.

what did Blount say? I assume this was after getting on eagles?

And Cincy fans are coming at him for that fumble that cost them the playoff win...and today he said he will post all the bad that was written about him...seems to have some thin skin based on his tweets
Apparently, they've been giving him **** about that fumble for years, which is what prompted his shoving it in their faces.

I like it. Chip on his shoulder...something to prove. And yeah, having people come out of the blue to attack you on social media can hurt.

I doubt he comes back only because I doubt the Pats will carry 5 RBs. You never know, though.

Cinci fans have been riding him pretty hard on instagram all year. He can't even make a post about walking his dogs without a dozen replies about fumbling the leash.

A vet minimum contract with incentives should get him back in the fold you would think. Could be very valuable as a backup lead back who also plays on special teams.

Someday, scientists may discover a cure for Bengalitis, a debilitating disease that reduces a player's mental capacity but increases his self worth.
Only one other disease is considered more debilitating....Brownitis, an incurable disease that disables a player's mental capacity and destroys their fans' self worth.

It'll be interesting to see how much more work they give him in 2019.

I think we will be seeing 30+ catches in 2019. They will be working on that at OTA's/TC....

I think so too. That seems like a good amount. Anything over 50 might be a bit too much as you then get into over 300 touches.

If he can get anywhere close to Burk's level of proficiency in the passing game its huge.

His IG was crazy yesterday. Hennessy at the outset of the day, drooling, quite literally, in the afternoon, then talking chit to Bungles fans. All I could think was "dude, put the phone down." His comments earlier in the day, when he was sober, seemed to indicate that he wouldn't be back, or expected to not be back.
