I was way less nervous last night than the KC game..anyone else?

I was calm the whole game.

On 4th and inches near the end, my sons were yelling for them to go for it. I said, "Why? Kick the field goal and it's over. 100% Gost nails. 100%."

Wasn't even holding my breath.

MVP = Pats D. Dominant performance.

I was less nervous than K.C. for sure, but at half time...I told my wife, "This game is gonna see 4 TD's in the 4th quarter". Then when we went up 10-3...I told my wife, "Now, watch the Rams score a TD here to tie it at 10-10...then Brady lead us to a FG....then the Rams score a last second FG to send it into OT at 13-13".....all before Gilmore's interception.

I was split at the time. On one hand...pick up 3 inches...and we kneel down. OTOH, kick a FG and at worst we are looking at a favorable onsides kick recovery situation...

Surpsied that narrative hasn’t been talked about more. Definitely one of the calls where I’m sure fans calls were different. Kick the fg or Brady sneak with inches to go.

The right call was made but I was torn at the time.

Well, one of my sons had $1500 coming if it was 10-3 finish, so I get his point...

I just wanted it more this way so that the "DUMP GOST!" knuckleheads in the game thread would be more miserable.

Oh, they are still alive and well. I think they are ready to bring in Codey Parkey as his replacement.

I was nervous at halftime. 3-0 lead in a game that should've been a blowout. My biggest fear was that this game would be remembered for all of the missed opportunities by the Patriots. After Hightower dropped that pick, I immediately thought the Rams would make the Patriots pay. But the D never let it happen. If it weren't for their kicker having a huge leg, this defense would've pitched a shutout.

The defense saved their best performances for the most important games. This team truly did peak at the right time. Still hard to fathom that they lost to bums like Jacksonville, Tennessee, Miami & Detroit.

Also, Brady nearly bailed out an all time horrendous defense in SB 52. In SB 53, the defense made amends. It was nice to see the likes of Jason Mccourty, Hightower, & an improved KVN on the field over the likes of Rowe, Richards and Bademosi.

I wasn't really nervous. I was more so just annoyed and disappointed in the offense.

Me too, it was obviously to me by the half that Goff was one of the worst QB we faced all season, on par with the likes of Sam Donald. I know he doesn't have any magic in him and was pretty much exposed as who he really is last night.

I'm always nervous watching big games, but the Rams never scared me like the Chiefs did. My only worry in the Super Bowl was that the Patriots would give the game away on an unforced error; the Rams themselves never looked anything but hapless. To me the Chiefs game almost WAS the Super Bowl in terms of being the game that was the biggest challenge to this team.

I was never nervous last night. I was just irritated that we couldn’t finish drives. I was nervous the entire KC game.
