It is not being talked much about but that was the play of the game for me.

Chung going down caused a bit of lack of communication which resulted in that broken play.

Cooks was open by a mile for an easy touchdown. Jason ran like a bullet from the other side of the field to disrupt that sure TD. That was the first time the Rams put anything meaningful together and could have given them a lot of momentum and confidence.

And yes, in my opinion more important than the interception because we would have won even if they got a TD there.

I agree, for me this is without a doubt THE play of the game.

Think about it for a second, imagine if McCourty doesn't get there and the Rams go up 7-3.

1.) It was a struggle for the offense all night. Going down 7-3 would have felt much larger than just 4 points. Without even sniffing the red zone to this point it would have felt like a 2 score deficit.

2.) From a defensive perspective, after playing lights out all night, despite all your efforts you look up and all of a sudden are losing. That would have been damaging to the psyche.

Instead, McCourty makes a big time play followed by a big time play by Hightower. Defense stays on point the rest of the night.

PS....That clock killing drive at the end was UN-FRIGGIN-BELIEVABLE when you consider the circumstances but that was a series of plays, so single play highlight goes to McCourty.

Unbelievable play by McCourty. Luckily Goff threw it late and with a perfect amount of wobble giving McCourty the time to get there and break it up.

JMac played every single snap. Who saw that coming back in August?

100% the play of the game. The athleticism and determination to make that play...just wow. I'm super happy for the guy!

(Re) Sign the beast!

It probably saved the game...Rams get that and we are playing from behind and that D gets some more steam.

Brady I think was still going to score..but yeah huge

Good play but Goff really blew that one. Late recognition, not enough velociity, not ideal placement.

His describing how he went from losing every game in CLE to the SB with his brother was awesome.
My favorite post game quote was him sarcastically yelling I'm not having any fun here.

loved how he - after he made the play - just stood up and jogged back to the LoS for the next play without any stupid team pic celebration (thats actually the signature celebration of any loser team out there btw.) like they won the game already and just got ready for the next play

DO YOUR JOB!

I like how he doesn't even react after the play, like it was nothing and not a game-changing play. Just starts jogging nonchalantly back toward his spot.

I was so glad for him when he made that outstanding play. He barely made the team and a lot of people bad mouthed him, but he showed he belonged.
