Every Pats game, I wear my Pats sweatshirt while watching on TV. Every... game. For YEARS.

So, Pats had lost to the Fins and the Steelers... reeling a bit... my son and I are watching the Bills game... it's 4th quarter, and he says, "Dad, you're not wearing the sweatshirt."

I'd forgotten.

Pats beat the Bills. Hmmmm.

So I did NOT wear my sweatshirt for the Jets game.

Pats won that game. Hmmmmm.

SD... no sweatshirt. Win.

KC... no sweatshirt. Win.

Last night... no sweatshirt. Win.

You know it's true. Because it's scientific, and mathematical.

It's time I take credit guys. My wife reminded me every time I threw a Superbowl party and wore my jersey, they lost. Yesterday I sat with no jersey, ignored neighbors trying to invite themselves over, and guess what they won again.

Well if you do not have any pregnant children you are going to have to spent the next 60 days babysitting so they can have date nights.

I would in a heart beat if I thought it would result in more grandchildren, but alas, I believe they are done. :-(

Frankly, a little insulted that my dad, and more importantly myself, are not getting the proper credit we deserve for this win. My father has attended three Super Bowls. Last year he brought my brother and I. We hoped that our being there would change his mojo; it obviously did not. The Patriots are now 6-0 in the Brady and Belichick era when my father does not attend the Super Bowl, and 0-3 when he does.

Even more importantly, I made this thread after the AFC title game.

Sorry folks, you're claims are indeed pretty good, but I have the lucky sweatshirt.
The Pats went 14-3 with me wearing it from 2001 to 2007.
Then I misplaced it from 2008 to 2012 and the Pats had a 3-4 playoff record.
Then I found it buried in a closet and have worn it since. The Pats record has been 13-3 since I started wearing it again.
That gives my lucky sweatshirt a 27-6 record and a .818 winning %, 68 points higher than Tom Brady's .750.

This is rapidly becoming my favorite thread.

I'd like to throw my Jersey into the mix for a reason behind the win... 3-0 in in Super Bowls when I wear my Brady one and 0-1 (last year) in my Gronk throwback.

It was all our collective luck, clearly!

I can relate to this. I asked my wife to sit at the same place to watch the game through out the playoff and Super Bowl .
