Guys for like the billionth time lines are about gauging better sentiment and avoiding getting exposed not making a statement.

Books aren't in the business of rooting against one or the other team, ffs. They just want to take money from betters.
Lighten up dude, I'm just having fun. Idgaf what anyone thinks anyway.

Lol.. Tried till sneak upstairs and hidego Pat's

Defense was outstanding

I remember after the Atlanta win TB was talking about retirement and a conversation with his wife and he said maybe after two more super bowls. Well its been two more and hes still playing. At the time I thought it might take 5 years for two more, maybe, it took two years and no sign of slowing, unfreakingbelievable.

I don't see how Gronk retires. I just don't see it. He was healthy the last few weeks and into the playoffs. Gronk is still dominant and he showed you why he's still the best tight end in the league.

Sony Michel looks like he's 35

I am from Toronto. For some reason my Dad became a Pats fans. So I followed the Pats from the 80's to Drew. Did not know much but I loved Drew..

Almost 25 years later here we our.

This is F'n insane.

I have no gif or smiley, This is F'n crazy....

Absolutely. Brady is so clutch that he can overcome so many weaknesses as they are able to adapt to a different style that usually produces victories.

But, I can’t help thinking about what things will be like with some actual receiver help (aside from Jules, of course). I’m truly amazed that they’re able to scheme around the lack of talent with guys like Hogan, Dorsett, and Patterson, at least when you define them as actual downfield receiving options. I can’t believe that opposing teams aren’t able to stop Edelman by doubling him and forcing Brady to throw to some of the lesser options.

Add in some help on the DL, and it’s scary to imagine how much better next year’s team could be.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong regarding my last post; the Patriots can absolutely use another weapon at WR. However, for this game Brady had targets open at some points and his passes were more frequently off than his long established historical standard. It could be due, in part, to a lack of 'offensive rhythm' based on this post season's philosophy of heavy run (I was surprised at how unwavering the play calling was with first down=run the ball. I thought we'd see a possession or two of hurry up in order to jump start the O). But I'm sure part of it was the Rams' D causing trouble (they may not have been hitting Brady a lot but they did a good job of keeping Brady from having many clear passing lane views).
But this is my own nit picking. Dismissed the Chargers, beat a damn good KC team in KC, beat a damn good Rams team. Our cup runnith over :)

When will you ever see a player and coach winning championships 17 years apart?! (not to mention everything that was accomplished in between) It's absolutely mind-boggling.

Just wait till the media tries to minimize this because Brady didn't play great

Pats fan from New Zealand here. So happy for this years championship winning team. They really battled through many different obstacles this season. However when it really mattered the most they stood tall and overcame them all.
Everyone did their job and everyone played their part in this tough hard fought victory!!!

I’m 28, and I’ve seen nine total Super Bowls played and six wins by the team I love. That’s unbelievable.

I’m pretty sure there’s a giant ball of bad luck waiting for me once I get into my 30s. Hey, at least I enjoyed the greatest run (more to come) by a football franchise in NFL history before it all comes crashing down on me. Go Pats!

As it turns out the Pats had plenty of bad luck and bad breaks but it was before your time, so you might be okay for a while. Even in the good years the Pats made it to the big game and lost, got jobbed out of it or relied on some team to help them out at the end of the season but the help never came.

That all changed in 2001, when the NY Jets, of all teams, beat the Raiders in the last game of the season and gave the Pats one more home playoff game at the old stadium. The rest is history.

Not seeing enough love for the incredible performance of the D-line. That was spectacular. Flowers, Wise, Guy, Butler, Shelton, Clayborne performed way above their norms (well, other than Flowers whose norm is higher than most people realize). The running numbers don't lie, and they kept engagement on pass plays so the LBs could stunt and twist and get into the backfield. How many times did Goff get hit versus Brady? Big props.
