I miss the excitement of making comebacks .......... (NOOB THREAD WARNING)

I found this game completely unexciting and thrilling compared to previous Super Bowls. It was more fun knowing we needed make plays happen to make a comeback and fight back against adversity. Super Bowl 49 and 51; they were just so special. They had drama and epic storylines behind them. They were historic Super Bowls that we were apart of.

Brady getting frustrated tonight and not showing anything stats wise really took the fun out of this. I really wanted to see him hold up the MVP and Lombardi, like always. I enjoy our wins when he's in Beast Mode and has to march down the field and score touchdown after touchdown. Other teams FEAR us knowing they can't stop Brady.

It was no fun having to play who can kick the ball further into each other's endzone for 3.5 quarters. Admit, our super bowls are more fun when we have to make comebacks that EVERYONE counted us out from and having doubts about our QB still leading this team.

This Super Bowl would've been more fun if it was the Saints. I've been saying since day 1 that the Rams defense was overrated.

Yeah Brady’s heroic are great, but it was getting old requiring that of him every single time we were in the big game.

It’s nice to not have to **** my pants in the final minutes of a SB for once.

We have more than paid our dues when it comes to exciting super bowls. Those sb losses were exciting for the casual fan but I never want to experience them again. More boring wins please.

Wait what. Their defense held us to 3 points for over 50 minutes. Hardly overrated. Their defense is the only thing that kept the game as close as it was. We blew the doors off of our previous two opponents and could barely rip the cord on the lawnmower against the Rams. Just managed to do it when necessary.

This game was good for my health. Yea it wasn’t the most exciting but oh well. Yes we are spoiled. I’m sure the Rams would have held a one week parade with a 5-3 victory.

My guess is that you are too young to remember real football - old school football.
The beauty of old school football was that the real men of the game - won.
Players that were fundamentally sound and who were willing to play above the pain threshold.
Football then was strategic field position - the punt was a massive part of the game - like today.

Your post shows your naivety ... you don't know the real game - you only know the TV version.

No kidding. A buddy of mine text me saying congratulations. There was still over a minute left. It's literally the earliest he ever had that opportunity to text that in any of our Super Bowls.

Understand the thought and its a cool one, if the world was right we would have fought and it would have been amazing to us to be with your fans, the best in the NFL that lves their team like we do. I would have been more fun.
Finally, 2 fan bros that have real respect and love for each other as gate bros and fans. Man your tailgate would cook up your magic seafood junk and the food would have been crazy. Not only for the 1st time 2 fans being seen on TV really having fun together.
but the world dealt us a different card and in a way cheated Brees, no patriots called that bad call so your not responsible or told GODell not to redo, its not your fault, you did your job and won.

But the important thing, THE REAL IMPORTANT THING, is you had to win today, no matter who you faced and you did, so you deserve it
