If that was truly Gronk's last catch in the NFL, that was a hell of a way to go out. A diving catch that beat a double team and set up the rushing TD that broke the game open.

That's just awesome. So happy for him. He truly deserves to go out on top. That was magical.

Anyone see the pre game segment with the "melon heads"? The guys who spend Saturday nights carving watermelons to wear as hats....who knew LA was so boring.

Hahahahahaha a bunch of haters, and a bunch of losers bahahahhaha.. talk to yall tomorrow. Goat coach goat QB goat owner best ever baaaaaaaahahahahhaha

i dont think you can blame that on cooks, he was wide open in end zone waiting for a ball that came entirely too late

he also proved to be the ONLY offensive weapon that worked for them, the reason we got rid of him was because we got a 1st in exchange and didn't have to pay up big money to a WR

that play is all about Jason not giving up, it's like the Ben Watson play, but was ruled correctly (or not ruled at all in this case) and ended up in a big Win

Jason was worth it this year for just that play alone
I get all of that, my post read as if I was not giving credit to Jason. He was fantastic and I say SuperBowl winning play there.
What I believe is that Jules/Brown would have held onto the ball. For the amount of money he commands, he is not the piece you can hang on in tough situations.

Yup Hogan had 0 receptions on 6 targets. Imagine if Brady had more weapons? It would be 2007 again. LOL.

Still we won the Superbowl with a 6th round draft pick and a 7th round draft pick as the focus of our offense. Not bad drafting, now that's value! You gotta bet Brady and Edelman still play with a HUGE chip on their shoulders and they are Champions again! Wooo!!

??
The success of the Patriots has Brady to thank, massively. While more weapons on O would obviously be a big plus, the Patriots are not without weapons. Tonight just wasn't one of Brady's good performances. No need to say otherwise, no shame in it, it happens to the greatest of them at one time or another. Fortunately when it was crunch time, where a TD drive would make the SB W very likely, Brady came through putting the ball right on the money.

I hope he has one more season left in him but if not...the GOAT TE will go out on top with an awesome Super Bowl performance.

Gronk: “It was the most satisfying year I’ve ever been a part of.”
Gronk on his future: “That decision will be made in a week or two.”

BTW, McCourty-on-McCourty crime on the NFL Network:

They asked Mama McCourty who was the bigger troublemaker. She said Jason. . . . to which Devin responded, "That's why you didn't win a game last year."

I know I’m late to the party, but man what a game. It was an incredibly strange game, but man both defenses were stifling. It was a 3-3 game game for 52 minutes and 59 seconds. That’s insane. The Pat’s defense was the best I’ve ever seen their defense play. I said they needed to play defense like the did vs the Chargers and Chiefs in the 1st half of those games, but needed to do it for 60 minutes, and they did.

And Brady did what Brady does, on those last 2 clutch drives. I really was worried how Brady was playing, and how the whole offense was playing, because they were gaining yards, but coming away with nothing to show for it, and sometimes that comes back to haunt you. But the Pats just dominated the Rams, especially defensively.

What an amazing feeling, so many people doubted this team, they weren’t doubting the offense, they doubted the defense. But having Edelman & Hightower (defensive MVP in this game I felt) back, was a key reason they won. If they had those 2 guys last year, they would’ve won SB 52, I have no doubts, key clutch playmakers. But who cares, SB 53 champs baby ! And the future is still bright !
