Longest day of the year tomorrow

I’ve got my life together unlike the rest of you all so I’m gonna go to sleep at my normal time and have a pretty normal day.

I always take my dog out for a long walk to work off the anxiety and to make sure shes tired enough not to bother me during the game, a bottle of bourbon also helps me get through the game. Excitement has already started.

It's definitely better to be here than not making it at all (Celtics haven't been to a finals since 2010...), but man I'm not looking towards being a nervous wreck all game long. I remember during 2016 SB against the Falcons, 4th quarter was just...I'm not even sure how to describe it.

Trying to take it in stride, but easier said than done. 9 Super Bowls in less than two decades yet the shine never wears off being in the big game.

There’s going to be some highs tomorrow, and there will also be some lows. There may be some times where things aren’t looking so hot in terms of the long game.

Bottom line is the Patriots have King Brady and Lord Belichick at the helm. Until that changes, have to always like their chances.

Maybe I'm an oddball in that I'm able to sleep like a baby the night before Super Bowls. It's the early afternoon, day of, where the nerves start to kick in for me, and I'm tense the entire game. If the Pats win, I'll be up late watching highlights on NFL Network and reading reactions online. If they lose, the key turning points will replay in my head as I toss and turn trying to sleep. Either way I'm not getting a lot of sleep tomorrow so I better enjoy it tonight while I can.

I love that no matter how many times this team reaches the Super Bowl, we get older as people but the feeling never gets old. It's been 22 years since I got my first taste of a Pats Super Bowl appearance, and I feel just as excited now as I did then, and every time since then. I'm still amazed that we have this game to look forward to given how this season was looking before. I'm just so grateful, every time, and always. Anxious about this game, but in a good way.

Edit - Well, that was one of the worst nights of sleep I’ve had prior to a Super Bowl. My fault for staying up so late.

B's and Celts are both playing so that's a big plus.

I remember the first SB.36. I taped All the pregame and watched the golf.. funny thing was my gf at the time was petite Vietnamese girl . I remember feeling like " once you go Asian, there's no other persuasion" now , kinda proving that theory...

West coast! 3 hours less of waiting.

It is like Christmas though. Including how it happens every year.
Manila... Wakey wakey .... take warm shower..make some coffee... climb back in bed.. oh look it's the super bowl 7:30 am... Hehee.

its 0541 and I'm up. 13 hours til kickoff

Yes gonna each movies till late I ca wake up at 2 and not wait long

Just woke up and I'm already nervous. Gonna be a long 12 hours.

Gonna be walking the pup, cooking breakfast, setting up the crock pot, watching the Celts, walk the pup one more time, shower, game attire on, and basically freak out.....

Slept better than I usually do and got up a bit later, nice.

Find it best if I stay busy.. boredom sucks and makes the time go by slowly.
- Go to market early, pick up some stuff
-Back for Breakfast
-Do a 90 minute walk
-Work on Mo in Law's income tax and probably start my Grandson's..
-Package some Ebay Items I sold over the weekend.
-Fit lunch in there and read a chapter of my book..

That should bring me to about 4:00 PM, then I can relax and get ready for the Superbowl..

My winter time life as a retiree works better if I schedule 3 or 4 activities a day...

My day is planned.

Mrs RW needs a new car.

Gonna test drive 3 today.

That should take us till about 4pm

I have been awake since 3am to catch flight from Detroit to Philly. This IS the longest day for me. Super Bowl needs to happen earlier so that we can all recover for work on Monday.

None of the dealerships are open here in the philly area and suburbs. That’s awesome. Where are you?
MA.

We can buy a car on Sunday but can't buy booze after 6pm.

Go figure.
