How certain defenses stop Brady.

Also dont forget our no huddle. I know during the Chiefs game the strategy was to chew clock and keep mahomes on the sidelines. In the first half this was executed to perfection.......if we struggle I expect to see the no huddle, which we're the best at in the business thanks to the GOAT

I am watching the footage of this year's games that we lost and it seems Hogan was always open for easy TD's if Brady had moved from Jules to his path. I hope he changes his tendencies this game.

We had no running game in 2015

That 2015 was one of Brady's finest moments. Why you ask? Because he struggled all day. Got beaten up. But he kept getting up. It's unfortunate they lost that game thanks to the kicker. But Brady was tough that day. What a player.

They really should have one that game. Twice they were deep in field goal range late in the 4th the tried on 4th down and failed rather than an easy field goal. If Bill kicks a field goal on either of those possessions, they don't need the 2 point conversion at the end. If I remember correctly, both in the red zone. Not hard field goals.

Yup. One at the Broncos 14 and one at their 16. Kick both of them and they need only a field goal to win at the end.

Maybe. The problem with this logic is a faulty assumption that everything else remains static. I suspect the Broncos don't play so overly conservative if up by less than 8.

I agree, but could that version of peyton really do much more? He was pretty bad back then.

Again, I don't think anything matter except how well the Pats execute. Last year, honestly, the offense did not execute well at the start of the game and in certain key situations. The D did not execute anything well. To me, it all comes down to execution.

Pretty interesting stats from NFL.com:

Brady vs edge pressure has 7 TDS, 0 INT and. 118.7 passer rating. Against interior pressure he has 2 TDS, 2 INT and a 63.1 rating. And the Rams “ranked first in the NFL in interior pressure.”

Gotta think Dante and crew will have an answer, but certainly something to watch.

Frankly, I don't believe he had faith in Gost after the missed XP.

I totally agree. I was just pointing out that as much as the Broncos d was good that game, brady still moved the ball and put them in a position to win. Since this discussion was about wade Phillips vs brady, it wasnt like he shut him out that day.

D'Angelo Hall: Gronk has never faced a corner like Talib. And they were teammates . Such an advantage for the Rams. The Rams defense is too good".

Yet he fails to mention the fact Gilmore was teammates with Woods in Buffalo. He was teammates with Cooks in New England. I mean by his theory above, shouldn't then this be advantage Pats?

Agreed. And that Broncos D as a whole was better than the Rams. Brady was a whisker away from putting up 20 on them. Could've been more.

Wade is one of those DCs that does what he does. Every week. Not a lot of variety. The Pats' usually shred those guys. Phillips is no exception. The Denver games were an outlier. They had an all time great defense. We generally do pretty well against his defenses.

This Rams defense is vastly inferior to the one Phillips had in Denver. We own Suh and Bill has a history of shutting down elite pass rushers. Not all the time, but quite often. Phillips does not scare me, Gurley is not a hundred percent (or even close) CJ Anderson is about 25 pounds away from playing shape and Goff is Goff. I feel pretty good about our chances. This might be our first SuperBowl blowout.

I really feel like Brady is going to be great tomorrow. If so the Rams are f*cked.

Also, so good they were 19th in the NFL this year in team defense? Not enough eye roll emojis
