That has to be the last pro bowl

I think they should just give a gold medal to every player selected. You know, the kind with chocolate wrapped in gold foil.

I haven't watched one of those games in so long that I can't remember the last one. By the sound of it I'm not missing anything.

I would rather be wanked off by Edward Scissorhands than watch garbage.....

I don't mind the skills competition for all sports but I have zero interest in the Pro Bowl or All-Star games. For me these games are meaningless. I gave up watching years ago.

Just my opinion.

To me, the pro bowl (and being selected) was an honored thing. Now, it seems that half the league is a "Pro Bowler". It has just been diluted to the point of non-sense. For example, a couple of years ago, I believe the AFC was down to the number 7 or 8 QB that actually went to the PB. Then all the next year it was so and so, a Pro Bowler..... It's just a joke.

It would be better to not have a game, just pick the players and that's it.

Admittedly, I have not watched the Pro Bowl for years, no wait decades. I'm at the gym on the elliptical saying to myself "Hey, mindless football. This will make the hour pass". I was shocked at what I saw. In high school we played tackle pickup football. Hit much harder. Worse yet, later up through my 30s we played a rough version of touch but with the rule you could smack the QB (I always hated my opposing QB whoever it was and wanted to smack him). We still played much harder than this. I can't believe with the loose coverage that NFL QBs failed to complete even more passes in this game already heavily biased towards offense.
I was shocked. What a joke.

with the exception of baseball, all All Star games suck bilgewater

I like the NBA All Star Game. The best NBA players engaging in a playground style game, it's fun and fun to watch (for me).

The NFL can't do that, too much chance for injury. Skills competitions is the way to go. Watching those QB Skills Challenges in the 90's was fun, and no one got hurt.

Patriots players snubbing Pro Bowl?? Goodhell will be taking another Draft pick away. :D

If they're afraid of getting hurt they should just not play. It's such a dumb thing to be worried about honestly. Blown out of proportion. Maybe they could sign something saying if they get hurt the NFL has to pay them franchise tag money for the games they miss. There you go, problem solved
It’s not a stupid thing to worry about. Health means everything for these guys. Most haven’t played or practiced for over a month and players most often get injured when they’re not in game shape.

Do you really understand this game or do you just watch football games?

If it means so much don't ****ing play. I don't understand what's so hard to grasp about that

No one, including fans cares about the game. Just have skills competition. Did you watch it? They barely even put in any effort. And most people understand why. It’s dumb to play as if it’s a real game.

Gee wonder why.

I'm just throwing some ideas out that could fix the Jay Cutler Bowl. Give them something to play for (charity) and give them insurance in case of injury since they're so worried about it.
