This is the last game of the season and it’s for all the marbles. I expect Sean McVay to have some tricks up his sleeve just like Doug Pederson did last year. I don’t feel like we prepared for that well last year. As long as your secondary doesn’t bite on the eye candy and stays in position, foles doesn’t score there. Remember McVay tried a fake punt in the nfccg and it worked. Also, if we try a trick play, can we please not try to throw one to TB? That was painful seeing him try and make a catch.

We couldn't stop the Eagles offense regardless of whether they were running trick plays.

The Rams will definitely try a fake punt or FG; seems like a good prop bet actually.

I'd like the Pats not to focus on running their own straight up 'trick plays' (e.g. flea flickers, Edelman passes, etc.) but would like to see some misdirection, Patterson sweeps, different formations and the like.

Yeah, no more passes to Brady...ever.

The wing counter play they ran with Patterson vs KC was beautiful, although ruined by Jules getting lazy and grabbing jersey.

If they're in man. Inside the 10 roll out pivot and throw opposite back pylon. Have jules pivot hard. It's kind of cheap, but it works. If there is any type of coverage air it out of bounds.

Who remembers the trick plays the Pats attempted in the Falcons Super Bowl? There were four, maybe five depending on how you count it.

We are pretty tricky in Super Bowls too, but I hate it when we do that because it means we have got ourselves into a hole of some sort. I much prefer it when we win straight up.

I think our ST is too disciplined to fall for Johnny Hekkers SHENANIGANS.

The Rams have already showed the fake punt too many times this year, so Bill will have the boys ready

How about a long bomb to Matthew Slater. Not technically a trick play, but nobody would be expecting it. I would love it for him.

NO NO NO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO

Whenever that play is designed, some form of mind manipulation comes over Tom and he throws into triple coverage, often intercepted.

I'm with @TB_Helmet . No trick plays but let's bring back getting the ball into our playmakers (CP) hands behind the LOS on some jet sweeps. He's lethal with the ball in his hands.

Also, please no routes for Tom.

Saw that in SB46. Would not recommend.

On that note, let’s not have any trick plays where we give up a safety on an “intentional grounding” that goes 30 yards in the middle of the field...

Not technically a trick play, but I don’t want to see the “fake to RB, fake to end around, screen to RB” play. It has a bad playoff history.

The hilltopper at the end of regulation was cool. One that no one noticed is when Chung went back for the punt return but Julian was on the other side of the field with the fake fair catch. Impossibly difficult over the shoulder catch by Chung IIRC.

Of course the Brady toss....and that is the one that got him hurt in 2018 against Tenn so a big 0-2 on that one.

I'm looking for them to dust off the Brady punt. I figure if the D is playing well and they have a lead, they might try to surprise them and pin them back deep.
