Yes to all of the OP, even had a couple of friends over who started rooting for the Chiefs. Increased my stress level.

yep, that game was not good for my blood pressure. Luckily I lost my appetite and stopped eating or I may have lost my dinner too.

That’s how I get. I don’t get nervous or too emotional but not hungry. I really only yell at the stupid **** like the punt recovery attempt. Couldn’t even really be mad about the following INT.

When i am anxious or stressed I don't eat..I ate at 3 and that was it

I went into the game trying to be calm, thinking about how it’s all gravy at this point. Then the Pats dictated the first half and I could taste the victory at the tip of my tongue. Then the Chiefs answered quickly in the third quarter and suddenly I had flashbacks to the Colts game 12 years ago. Here we go again. Spent that entire fourth quarter pacing back and forth nervously, feeling faint at some points. Jumped up and down when Michel gave us the lead with 3 minutes to go, then again when Burkhead gave the lead with 39 seconds left, then lost my mind when we won in OT.

Every one of Brady’s previous Super Bowls have been nail biters. I hope the Pats got that nail biter game out of the way and can just flat out dominate the Rams, for the sake of all our health lol.

I ACTUALLY thought I was having a heart attack. I never had that feeling before. I HAD to walk away for minutes to calm down.

I thought this team has a 40/60 shot to lose to Chargers

I flat out thought the Chiefs would win by 10 points going into the game

Yet I had a strange calmness despite the chaos (much like last year's SB) through it all last night during the actual game, I knew if Brady had the ball with enough time left, he'd get it done (Obviously that wasn't the case against the Eagles, alas)

The lowest points were when KC got tackled at the two yard line and I knew at that point they could kill clock before scoring (Luckily they scored right away) and obviously the "3rd" interception which turned out not to be.

The non-muffed punt review was excruciating. I give the officials tons of credit for getting it right.
I thought that the Hogan catch review, though not as time-consuming, was more excruciating because if that had been reversed - and I feared that's what would happen - we would've been facing a 4th/8 and a certain punting situation.

Stress is, I believe, a modified fight-or-flight response. so you get that adrenaline jolt in case you need to outrun a predator or lift a bus off an infant or whatever, and your senses get sharpened, and your sense of time seems to slow down - I guess that's your brain processing much faster making good use of that adrenaline.

But your body also wants to be rid of anything that could slow it down, and it has a couple of neat tricks to do that. One is to eliminate all the waste you can, and another is to vomit up everything you wont be using. only apparently paradoxically, you also want fatty/sweet/salty food for quick energy or something, and to have water in you maybe. I dunno. I might have made up the salty food stuff.

Also, beer. I don't think that one is actually part of evolution in the stress context. It's good though.

You might wanna skip the superbowl, cz its gonna be one hell of a ride.

I am a weird fan....I am up and down and pace....never really get to enjoy the game...I do tape it...then watch it afterwards.

Stund.
