There was a heated argument with some of my friends on Facebook. Three of us are Pats fans and the rest are against the Patriots. Anyway , one of my friends blocked me after all was said and done. She is a Seahawk fan , don’t think she’s over the SB loss. I texted her and told her to stop being so childish . She hasn’t responded yet. I can’t believe that a really close friend would behave like this. She wanted a Mahonnes / Goff SB . This is beyond ridiculous!!

That's really weird. I try not to discuss religion or politics with friends, but sports? I mean how can people get so involved on what is basically entertainment to get worked up that much over a game.

Send her the link to the Chiefs planet forum (or whatever its called) so she can read for herself the low class inbreds she is supporting.

Me too !!! Just had one bring me a Video of the roughing the passer call on Brady, I said well very next play Gronk was mugged and no call calls go both ways. He said no this one matters because patriots would have had to punt... Ummm no they wouldn't have it was 2nd down. But than it was Patriots always get bad calls go their way especially Brady... Blah blah blah. Get so sick of listening to it but at same time makes when they win that much more enjoyable.

my friends and family universally respond to me using some form of the following .."Hi, Unca Joe...nice day isn't it...that's a fine hair cut you're sporting...how's your kitty kat?...you really like shrimp, don't you...I like it when you're calm and collected..." Gotta admit, they always seem just a tad uneasy though...

I dunno guys. This year feels like most haters are broken and they begrudgingly admit Brady is the greatest, Bill is a genius. The Pats have set the standard. And like Shannon admit they are sick of it. But they are recognizing. Will they celebrate when Pats go down? Sure bet. But the tide seems turned and they are finally are giving the respect that was overdue for years. And so far I have enjoyed the post game commentary including (knock on wood) no controversial nonsense . probably in part due to Saints game.

Your mistake is answering seriously. Totally go the other way..that roughing call? Say you were shocked the Chiefs player wasn’t arrested for assault after the game and you were just glad Brady was ok after. Lean in.

Saw a funny one on buffalo forum about their "legacy" being in jeopardy. The "legacy of 4 straight super bowl appearances"....4 Ls to be proud of I guess. Lol

The Atlanta Super Bowl was GREAT for that. I think it was the joy they had, not knowing what was coming. It was like watching a horror movie and the Patriots were Michael Myers.
