Passing of the tourch.

You are too funny! You are right even with him offsides he couldn't get to Brady which is my point exactly. Him lining up offsides or not makes zero difference on the play, then Brady throws the pick game over chiefs win. Thank you for understanding what I'm saying!
Nobody understands what you're trying to say, least of all this bizarre fantasy you have about "passing the torch." Your welcome here pretty much is worn out at this point, irrationality confirmed. Why do you continue trolling for abuse? You're coming across like a Jets fan.

But just couldn't help watching Brady dink and dunk down the field for most of the evening that his time is about done. Watching Mahomes shows you what the future of the NFL will be for the next 15 plus years.
The TD to Dorsett wasn't "dinking & dunking".

That last minute lob pass to Gronk along the sideline wasn't "dinking & dunking".

Those THREE 3rd/10 laser-beam darts to Edelman/Gronk in OT weren't "dinking & dunking".

I know you're used to seeing 40+ yard bombs thrown all game to that speedy woman beater who you cheer for, but teams rarely win Super Bowls doing that. Maybe a divisional game and during the regular season.

And I recall when RG3, Kaepernick and Newton looked totally unstoppable at points in their career(s) - all with significantly inferior weapons than Mahomes. He's not a lock to have any sort of torch passed to him from the GOAT, nor is he a lock to be the face of the league for years to come like many think.

See Wentz, Carson

Chief fans and jet fans are cut from the same cloth. Just as we have beaten the jets spirits over the years, the broncos have done the same to the chiefs.

So if you look at the thread I started I pretty much called this game right on with a 34-31 Pats win. Obviously looking at the game it could of been a toss up either way coming down to that last minute and then a coin flip. But to the Pats credit they won and are off to the super bowl.

BUT in watching the game live it just looked like the torch as been passed. Mahomes looks much better and more well rounded, can make all the throws and keeps a very level head. I think he has a lot of Brady intelligence with the farve or rogers arm talent. Our Defense is just awful, I mean like "All Time Historic Bad" defenses to ever play football. We all thought Berry would help but really did nothing to help.

But just couldn't help watching Brady dink and dunk down the field for most of the evening that his time is about done. Watching Mahomes shows you what the future of the NFL will be for the next 15 plus years. I'm glad Brady gets his one last swan song and we will see what he does in the super bowl, I think you have just as good a chance beating them as you did us so your odds look good.

But to most people around the country ( the QB cannot control defense) it was a pretty easy to see passing of the torch. Mahomes will carry it well into the next 15 years and thanks for a good game guys.
GOOD BYE!

Using your logic, Pats win in regulation on that fumble that was called back because of a totally unrelated hold on the other side of the field.

I like how he points out that Ford had nothing to do with the interception, so the game SHOULD have been over, when in fact no one on the Chiefs did anything to even force the interception. Totally lucky/fluky play...obviously came out of Brady's windup wrong.

Kansous City Choufs

I don't know why everyone on this board take this so harshly.

You won, we lost, I did call that ahead of time and am on record in a different thread

You have the best coaching staff in the history of football

You have the best schemes in the history of football

You consistently win all the time and most consider one of the best franchises in the history of the NFL.

You had one of the best QB's in the history of the NFL.

Saying the torch has been passed from a 41 year old to a 23 year old who did what he did this year isn't a negative, its simply a fact. Nothing to be upset about or feel bad about, just pointing out the obvious. I'm not saying Brady is average, just saying he is no longer elite, he is more of a game manager now, no different from when Peyton won a few years back, it was his defense, game plan etc.

Brady has carried the torch a long time and been very good, this is just the passing to the next greatest QB. Good luck in the SB

Holy **** dude. How many more consecutive game winning drives does Brady need to make to be elite? Was 3 insufficient?

Ain't
****
passed
yet

To be the man, you have to beat the man.

Something mahomes has yet to do in 2 tries

That ball skipped off Gronk's hands, it wasn't like Brady threw it to a defender.

MODS:
I'm all for freedom of speech and open discourse, blah, blah, blah.
But this thread and the OP are trolls and I find it offensive.
It's a buzzkill after such a sensational last 4 games from this amazing team, to see this forum polluted with this crap.
I like the give and take of different viewpoints but this is flatout trolling by a KC fan who tries to sound polite but isn't.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd be happy if you just removed the thread. Thank you
