Some of my 9 lives are gone

At this point in time I am not sure how many I have left...

17 Years ago when the Patriots Dynasty was born by upsetting the Rams, (Thank you Ricky Proehl) I called my Grand Daddy Cat on the phone. It was late at night and he usually fell asleep early. He was awake and he was elated. He passed away later that year. He never did see his beloved Red Sox win however he did get to share some Patriots joy.

I was literally shaking in OT, I can't remember that ever happening to me during a football game before. Epic.

There's no doubt I lost a few months (if not years) from whatever life I have remaining.

As soon as the game ended, I stood up from my chair, finished my next-to-last beer, took a couple of more hits from the vape...and proceeded to practically collapse at the bottom of the stairs from a little drunkenness, a little more bakedness, and in tears of elation, gratitude, and exhaustion. Not having eaten all day because of nervousness probably didn't help either.

I was at the game. I don't know if I was shaking from the cold or nerves. I guess a combination. I've never been so strung out at a game though. There were so many times that I thought we had won. Then I thought we had lost. And both teams kept answering. As much as I wish we had won, there is no denying that it was an epic contest on a big big stage.
