Passing of the tourch.

Total yards 528- 290. Time of possession 43:59 - 20:53.

It never ceases to amaze me how fans from the parade of Pats victims over the years don't get it. And many of the media are the same.

Even better, and more relevant, is that I believe at least half of the coaches, scouts, and team personnel around the league STILL don't get what makes winning football players like TB12. Probably one of the NEP's enduring advantages--competitors egotististical lack of self-evaluation, falling in love with visible shiny talent

IMO, Brady is simply otherworldly! There will never be another NFL player that even comes close. His sheer will to win, his year-round commitment to his craft, his amazing preparation, and his willingness to accept a team-friendly deal all contribute to his incredible accomplishments. He beats you before the ball is snapped. He beats you with whatever offense he has, from Randy Moss to Johnny Foxboro. He's mentally and physically tough as nails. He just wins.

As for a torch, I believe that there no way Tom Brady is ever going to pass any torch. When he retires in 2023 or beyond, he's going to take it with him.

no offense when I say this but its already done. Look a couple of things, one of which in in-arguable, 1) If Dee Ford is 6 inchs back at the end of the game which didn't matter on the play we win the game, there is zero arguing that, lucky call 2) if we get the coin flip we win the game.

Brady was good but the torch has been passed, its ok. The torch has not been passed for coaching though.

Ok, so we now know that you're just another troll. That's too bad, because a quality poster from another team is always a good thing for the site.

Look all the love in the world for how good they have been over time but its no longer about Brady as much as elite coaching.

I’m struggling to see why this is still an argument.

Brady is still better and is going to the Superbowl, his 9th. No torch was passed

Maybe Mahomes will be better in 2019 but right now it’s all speculation.

"If our player didn't violate the rules, we might have won!"

Ok guy.

Look I'm not trolling at all, again I called the score in my other post within a few points and I called for a coin toss ( funny its how it happened) but the Pats winning. Look its ok I get it, the Chiefs suck, we will never have the championships, heck haven't been to a super bowl in 45 plus years. We can go on and on how great the Pats are, I'm 100% with you on it, I'm making the point that Mahomes in the new guy to take the torch from Brady, its not a slam on Brady, just reality. Give us Hoodie for this game and we win by 17 plus, but we don't you have the best head coach ever and its not even close.

Trolling? Why would someone who is a troll say all that I have said, best team ever in the NFL. Brady carried the torch for a loooong time, this year it was clear it has been passed.

I think he has physical gifts that Brady has never possessed but I think mentally he is very close to brady and next year will probably be at his level. Again nothing against Brady but this game was a passing of the torch QB wise, the bigger deal here was how well you were coached, that is what won the game, not the QB. Hell Alex Smith could of played that game and won against us the way you were coached. Sort of reminded me of the year Peyton won the SB when he was a shell of what he was. Brady isn't the reason you guys with this year, the Hoodie is the reason. Again good game.
Max Kellerman can't help himself but to come on here to drive his moronic dribble. LMFAO, Loooooser.

"If our player didn't violate the rules, we might have won!"

Ok guy.

On the drive prior to the Ford penalty, the Patriots recovered a fumble. The Patriots would have had a 4 point lead, the ball at the Chiefs 20, and the ability to kill most of the 3+ minutes left on the clock or, at a minimum, force the Chiefs to burn both of their remaining timeouts. And, given the location of the recovery, we can at least acknowledge that the odds are wildly in favor of that leading at least to a FG, which would have given the Patriots a 7 point lead So, the idea that it took a legitimate call to save the Patriots asses from what would otherwise have been a turnover is more than countered by the fact that said call only came after a much more questionable call saved the Chiefs asses from what would otherwise have been a turnover and put the Patriots in position to close out the game.

As I said, the guy's trolling.

Glad you agree

Also, the neutral zone infraction didn't influence the play because the Chiefs got their ****s pushed in by the Patriots OL. Your player lined up offsides and still got stoned. He lined up offsides because he knew he couldn't get to the quarterback if he didn't, and he still couldn't do it.

This is really pathetic, man. You're essentially highlighting the shortcomings of your team in some desperate attempt to, I don't know, make the outcome retroactively change?

I mean, if it makes you feel better, I'm not one to stop you, but let it be known that several people here with a much more rational view of the situation because we aren't skewed by the disappointment of defeat have warned you that you're embarrassing yourself.

You're on another team's message board right now rationalizing an extremely close loss because an unequivocally correct call was made and because the rules of overtime are what they are. It's way beyond pitiful.

It’s the torch BS. You can say Mahomes should be a great but isn’t now, and highly doubtful he will be close to TB12 at any time. No one will.

Again. Lets see “Showtime” with what the Pats had offensively yesterday. Trade weapons. He doesn’t put up 31. Maybe 17.

Maybe.
