Anyone else almost get physically ill from that 4th qtr and OT?

This is the second time I converted to Christianity, Catholicism, Islam, and that one religion with the elephant dude just to pray for a win in as many different forms as possible. First time was in SB 51.

You do realize that Catholics are Christians?

(I think that was a line from Manchester by the Sea).

I’m starting to get used to the drama, maybe by the time Brady and Belichick retire in 10 years I’ll get completed used to it. My wife thinks I’m crazy, yelling, pacing, jumping up out of the chair....she says look at the players, they don’t look as upset as you...

I stress my wife out to the point she can't enjoy the game because when I'm nervous I constantly talk...and it's mostly negative. She can't believe how many times I can say "this is the play of the game" ..or "that was the play of the game"

You kidding me? My anxiety sends me through the roof. I got AFib once watching this team. Then ended up getting taken care of realizing I need to calm down and take care of myself more, lol.

I hate to admit, on many of the Pats 3rd and 4th downs. I paused my TV, and looked at the result of the play on my computer. My wife thinks I need help!

My GF isn't really into sports..she was even nervous looking at the score online while txting me if I was still alive.

She also thinks i am insane

anyone else think they basically let that run play from the 3 go for a touchdown on purpose? after the watkins play, i figured they'd let them score quick......i knew once KC went into the endzone that they left TB12 too much time

been here so many times i really don't ever doubt that it is going to happen.......i really like games like this one

42 and 46 made me think i was just going to die on the spot. This was bad but nothing compared to that

My heart was pounding so hard, I texted a few friends that I was having a heart attack. One of them texted back a picture of his iWatch saying that he was averaging 117 bpm! :)

my son was so overcome during the 4th and OT he actually started tearing up... he's 10. He changed jerseys 3 times trying to change the mojo.

So he's the reason the Chiefs kept scoring! I thought I had on the wrong socks. :)

No, but both myself and my mother were visibly shaking.

I really didn't think they were going to win this game. I just didn't want to see them get embarrassed. The Brady pick was painful but when they went into halftime up 14, I was good with whatever happened after that because just getting and maintaining a lead in that stadium against that team seems impossible.

By the time the Chiefs took the lead and the D was getting gassed, I really thought that would be the end of it. You always 'believe' that as long as Brady has shots they can hang, but matching that team TD for TD was far from a sure thing (and they needed a little luck).

Did the better team win? I think so. But I would have been fine either way. Andy Reid getting a chance to win a SB isn't a bad thing. I feel a little bad for the guy and that team (except Hill, **** that guy). They had an unbelievable season.

Physically ill? No, but I was at risk of physically injuring myself. My wife tells me I was literally throwing myself on the floor a time or two in the 4th quarter, but I don’t exactly remember that. I thought I was throwing objects down, but I cannot remember what ones.

Either way, I got scolded at by the Mrs. who said I was being a bad example for our daughters.

All Catholics are Christians, but only the majority of Christians are Catholics. :D

I opened up a bottle of one of my my favorite scotches (Lagavulin 16) before last year's Super Bowl, but ever since the game ended I couldn't bring myself to drink any more of it because it had bad mojo. Around when the Chiefs started coming back, I got it in my head that I could swing momentum by drinking all of it. By the end of that, yeah, I'd say I was something resembling physically ill.

Not really, I mean I always shout at tv during games anyway but I was surprisingly calm, especially when I stopped following the GDT to concentrate on the game. It was actually fun. :)

Yup, not good for my health...

After Brady and BB ride off in the sunset...I swear to not get too INTO it anymore....err...maybe...

I haven’t felt this way since the Saints game with Kenbrell Thompkins catching the game winner.
