I was at the 96 AFCCG and I vaguely remember the start was delayed because the NFCCG was running late.

It wasn't a "bad call". There was no call made. It was exactly as I feared, a deliberate attempt to fix the outcome. This game should be over.Goodell wants Rams/KC and the two young QB's...for marketing reasons. THIS is why we pulled the jerkoff ref that FIXED the Panther game years ago. THIS is how arrogant and how callous Goodell is...he just doesn't care what we think, see, feel or know. THAT is why I want him in cell in a federal penitentiary .

We and the Saints have a chance. The refs are just there to ensure that the games are close and thrilling, and to make sure the right team wins. I will be very surprised if the Saints lose today, especially given that LA can't sell out a stadium if their lives depended on it, meaning zero interest in the team. I would be very surprised if the Pats lost, given they play in the biggest market of all the remaining team, and the NFL needs to continue their ritual for creating a dynasty every ten years... though we could lose and win in 2020.

Difficult to disagree with that. Although when the Saints lost Rankins it kinda made me wanna play them more.
