Tyree’s was on 4th down and set up the game winning TD to knock off an undefeated team and was every bit as fluke and lucky as Edelman’s.

Edelman’s catch was much better from an athletic standpoint. It was a spectacular heads up bang bang play. It was an under thrown ball that close to being intercepted and might have been if he misplayed it. That absolutely would have lost the game.

Tyrees catch was a good one but had plenty more luck involved. It was memorable because it was a freak catch which helped turn a historic game on its head. It shouldn’t have happened because a whistle should have blown for in the grasp.

Football wise Edelman’s was better.

Trying to be the first team to win a conferance Championship on the road since Baltimore in 2012-13 season.

It’s a rare feat, but the Pats are trying to do it for a 4th time. Miami, Pittx2. Some of my favorite games ever.

We had some opportunities in Denver in the 2015 game. Brady threw the pick to Von Miller. We can’t beat ourserlves or do anything stupid if we want to win:

Um, ok. The Chargers should have beat you also. But since they didn't score lot of points and hold you better, it didn't work out that way. You guys just got lucky.

Nah, they didn't just get lucky, they found our weakness on defense (not being able to play man-to-man effectively) and beat us to death with it. If they play as well against the Chiefs as they did against us you guys are toast.

It’s so funny. Kc fan comes here to argue for his team and gets so bent out of shape his stats fall to sbit. They are a good team but don’t fudge numbers to make them more than they are. They really only played two good teams at home. The ravens and the chargers, both closes games, they lost one.

They got lucky as far as beating the Ravens goes. The Ravens had that game won until they blow coverage on the Mahomes bomb to Hill.

Everyone here is being way too dismissive of these Chiefs fans points here. Stop being a bunch of homers and recognize that yes, the Chiefs have a lot of things going for them for this game. They have more things going for them then the Pats do and that’s a fact. Does that mean that they’ll surely win? Obviously not. But they are favored and rightly so. If this was in Foxboro it would be different but it isn’t.

KC does have some things going for it. This defense will be better than the one we played the first time. While I'm unsure how effective Berry will be him being out there at all is a positive for KC. Houston will be something the Pats need to deal with this time they didn't have to last time. They usually do well defending against guys like Houston, but I wonder if he will free up a guy like Jones a little more.

Thee are concerns. We just need to get the ball out faster.

KC gave up 17.4 points per game at Arrowhead this season. As you said, they will have Houston and Berry available this time. That’s big for them.

I plead ignorance. What are you referring to?

I saw you at Chiefs Planet. Not going to lie, I am genuinely enjoying the website. They have been pretty respectful and just seem excited. However, the Brady injury thread I wasnt a fan of because I don't really like wishing injury on players.

Houston yes. Berry I'm not convinced he will be a factor
If the practices were limited instead of full, I’d be more inclined to agree with you. The rumor is that they were taking a cautious approach last week, so that he’d be well rested and ready to go for the conference title game. He’s made a difference on the field when he’s played.

The pulled him vs LAC b/c he was not good.

The dude has a brutal bone spur and has trouble pushing off without feeling an ice pick in his achillies. He says some days its good. Some not.

Maybe he'll be good Sunday. I'm just not a believer.

Chiefs have resodded their field after removing all 10 inches of snow. So weather won't change the outcome...at least not for them.
Maybe they'll have to move the game to Mexico

There are about 5-6 that give me crap but it's good natured and seem to know football. Ive asked questions and they've been cool.

I agree- The excitement they have for this game is awesome to see.

Tell them Nolan Ryan threw a no hitter at 43 and then again at 44. Watch em lose their minds

Just posted this over at Chiefs Planet.

JC is real good. Bill brought him along very slowly which is what he does when he knows he has something. He did it with Malcolm as well.

Useless numbers to chew on.

We know Mahomes has thrown 94 deep passes this year which was the most in the NFL.

The Patriots have the lowest deep completion percentage (24.2 percent) in the NFL.

Jackson is 1-16 in allowing deep passes.

I have no idea if he can stick with Hill outside the hashes but if anyone can, it's him.

He has shut down the top receivers in the NFL. Interesting how we have an all-pro CB on the other side.

So Bill has chosen to match up a rookie CB on the other team's top WR over an all-pro CB....wha?

Hill does most of his damage on the inside. We have JJ and Jason MCCourty. That won't be good enough.

JC has the ball skills but hes a rookie in the biggest game of his life. I hope he keeps his head.

We'll see.

I suppose it's possible that we are talking about different Chiefs/Colts games. I'm referring to the playoff game we just played. Through 3 quarters the Colts rushed for 46 yards on 10 carries. 17 of those yards came on 2 long scrambles by Luck. So the running backs through 3 quarters had 8 carries for 3.63 per carry. Meanwhile we built a huge lead. Save for the blocked punt it would have been 24 to 0 after 3. Their running game wasn't gashing us and it was not a threat that they would outscore us even at 6.2 YPC. In the 4th quarter, they had runs of 20, 11, 14 and 9 yards against a soft soft game is won defense. But to act like the running game was hurting us might be an exaggeration.

LOL, I guess homers are the same with every team.

On the first drive, Mack rushed for -3 yards and 10 yards. On the second drive, Luck attempted three straight passes and the Colts went 3 and out. On the third drive, Mack went for 6 yards and 2 yards. The third drive saw one attempt for -6 yards (good penetration here by the KC D). The 4th drive saw 7 pass attempts by Luck and no rushing attempts which led to a FG. The 5th drive saw 5 passing attempts by luck and no rushing attempts. The 6th drive saw Mack run for 3 and 14 yards. The 7th drive saw one Mack rushing attempt for 3 yards. The 8th drive saw Mack run for gains of 20 and 11 and Hines run for gains of 14 and 1. So yes, they were having success. They just abandoned it and died with a QB who stunk out loud and wasn't hitting the broad side of a barn.

So, with that in mind, a simple question of the yes or no variety is in order. I like to ask these to gauge whether or not my opponent actually believes what he's arguing. If you believe it enough, you should be able to answer yes or no without much input (usually just a sentence) if any required after that to explain your response. Yes or no: Indy's trouble on offense was due more to what your defense did than Indy's offense shooting themselves in the foot?
