On December 16th, Jim Nantz & Tony Romo broadcasted the Steelers win over the Patriots. One week later, the Steelers season virtually ended with a loss in New Orleans. Romo & Nantz broadcasted that game (Dec 23). On December 30th, Romo & Nantz broadcasted the Ravens division clinching win over Cleveland. One week later, they were in the broadcast booth when the Chargers ended the Ravens season. On January 13th, Romo & Nantz broadcasted the Chargers playoff loss to the Pats. January 20th??

Moral of the story: Romo & Nantz are in the broadcast booth when a team gets a big win. But they are also in the broadcast booth when said team's season ends a week later. Something I noticed lol.

I'm too lazy to figure this out on my own. Can someone tell me how to shut off the email notifications for every time someone replies to a thread?

To be fair, we were up big right away. I'm pretty sure we were up by 17 by the time the Colts got a first down. That took them out of their running game. And if you are up big on the Colts, you let Marlon Mack do his thing and keep Andrew Luck from doing his.

That's actually the time that you shouldn't give up on the ground game. Especially considering how badly Luck sucked in that game. That game was easily there to be had for Indy. Their receivers were open early and often. But because Luck was awful, they couldn't take advantage of it.

Um, ok. The Chargers should have beat you also. But since they didn't score lot of points and hold you better, it didn't work out that way. You guys just got lucky.

I think I figured it out with my giant brain.

If the game comes down to one or two possessions, it really favors the Patriots. The next game I see Reid manage the clock effectively will be the first. He’s as bad as Herm Edwards. At least Herm was smart enough to delegate the task.

The Chargers didn't beat us because Rivers was peeling himself up off the turf all day and Brady shredded their zone and man coverages (when they used them). The Colts didn't beat you guys because Mahomes shredded their zone defense and because Luck puked all over his shoes, Reeseyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Especially the ones everyone points to about our ‘playoff road loss streak’ . Both road losses since our last road win in 06 we were pretty decimated. Even the 06 one was bad iirc several defenders were down with the flu and wore out.

You had 2 sacks and 7 quarterback hits. We had 3 sacks, including a strip sack turnover and 5 quarterback hits. Pretty similar.

I respect the Chiefs & feel pretty good about the game, given NE’s recent momentum and focus. I’m really only worried about penalties, since we’re obviously on the road. Hopefully, we can play another clean game this Sunday.

Wait, do you think Luck had a great or even good game otherwise and it was KC's pressure that did him in? Let's get you on record.
