I like the colts chances but think Walrus and the headband take it...

As soon as I saw the Colts win, first thing I told my son is watch the Colts go into KC and upset them.

Chiefs peaked too early, much like we did in 2007.

I'll take the Colts and the points to the bank, thank you!

So Draft Kings has KC at -5. That number is surprising to me. If that's how Vegas feels about the Chiefs, maybe the Colts can go win that one.

Go Clots! For homefield throughout!

Colts defense is the worst against TEs
Which is a little strange because they are strong up the middle with safeties and MLB... the tampa 2 tries to prevent big plays though. Imperative to get Kelce going early and not get anxious to go deep to Hill too soon like Houston. Houston under BOB's leadership didnt attack the teeth, they played passive.

That is not a confident spread for the Chiefs.

I think HFA at Arrowhead is worth 4 points (not 3) as it is with some teams who play lights out at home.

So on a neutral field the #1 seed in the AFC is ONE point better than the #6 seed? Again, not a really confident nod from oddsmakers for KC. Maybe the lowest I’ve ever seen for 1 seed in the divisional round,

Colts are going to knock them off. The Chiefs won’t be able to lay a finger on Luck and he will roast their secondary all night. The Colts, on defense, should be able to get enough stops to win the game. So long as we take care of business against whomever comes out of tomorrow’s game, we should be hosting the AFCCG, IMO.

That is kind of impossible, though, since they play before us next week. We'll be rooting for the colts before we've played a playoff game
Of course, it is possible. Just enjoy watching that football game without picking a side to win. If we win the next day, then start thinking which team you would prefer.

The line is only 5. I thought it would be 7

The fate us hosting an AFC Championship game now (and in my and many other's minds, going to a Super Bowl) rely on the Colts pulling an upset in Kansas City.

Colts open as a 5 point underdog in Vegas, which isn't too shabby.

Positives
-Andrew Luck is a better QB than Jackson/Rivers
-Colts are the 5th ranked (27.1 PPG) offense in the NFL, third in AFC after Chiefs/Pats
-The Colts have "it" right now. Swag/confidence/momentum, whatever you'd like to call it
-Colts have the 10th ranked defense (PPG) in the league, Chiefs have the 24th
-Colts are on a 5 game winning streak (10-1 in last 11) and hottest team in NFL
-Chiefs are 1-2 in their last 3 games
-The Chiefs have not won a home playoff game since 1993 (0-6, 0-2 with Reid)

Negatives
-The Colts have only beat one playoff team on the road this year, the Texans (Twice)

Very happy this is the first game next week (Saturday, 4:35pm), as I want to know what the potential road for the Pats is ASAP.

You might keep in mind it also rests on beating either the Chargers or the Ravens.

Luck is gonna carve up that KC defense all night long. I think it will be a shootout. I give the colts a real shot at winning.

This game is just important as our game

Both need* to go our way to make it to the SB

I'm not sure what argument someone can make that this team can go to KC and win based on what has happened this year. We squeaked by them at HOME and that was when we still had our leading receiver (Gordon)

*Not literally, obviously, but for all intents and purposes

I was reading the thread and read this and thought “I have to login and tell this guy to STFU”

Seriously?! Think before you post stupid. Yes we can think about who we want to win. Why would we think it about after the fact?! Go to Sleep bozo!

Am I wrong to root for the Chiefs even if I think it could potentially be a bigger obstacle for the Patriots? Colts are still scum suckers, all the way from Saint Dungy and Polian to present under Irsay. This entire team is built from a crap load of draft picks from multiple pathetic/tanking seasons and lucky draft positions.
Someone recently posted a thread entitled, "Remember DeflateGate?"

...I'm still livid about 1976. What do you think?

The Dolts are dead meat if they come here.

We all have FakeGate II/DefameGate very, very fresh in our minds, and it'll remain fresh in my mind a thousand years after I die.
