Is recency bias making me not respect Edleman's production this year or am I right?

Shin and forearm have always counted as down. It was going to be overturned every time. The amount of people complaining about a bad call or a fix is really embarrassing.

The side of the leg or shin has always been down. I remember the exact same call a while ago but can't remember who it was against.

But it wasnt down. That's what I'm saying.

Certainly not anything insane said you over turn a play called on field.

This is the saddest team we've fielded since 2000. What really hurts is that Brady's running out of time and they didn't do any better.

Hahaha. Go watch some highlights of our 2002 squad.

4 consecutive quarters of poor play by TB ..this happens regularly now. Just brutal stuff.

Time for some real halftime adjustments...this is something the patriots have struggled with this year.

Edelman had one AWFUL drop, another drop while Haden was close up and the Brown screwed us out of a big Michel run with an unnecessary hold.

The defense can't stop the run with Malcom Brown just being plain awful and got screwed on that PI call.

The ST are the only unit that played their asses off so far.
And we are only down 7 and get the ball

I am in total shock that that was overturned.

First, I didn't think he shin was down at all.

Second, he was ahead of the marker anyway.

Third, after all the bad marks this year, and after Belichick challenged one two weeks ago that was an obvious bad call, and it wasn't overturned because they don't overturn bad spots, and now this?

What kind of horseshit call was that?

No. He wasn't ahead of the marker and yes, his shin was down. Sorry man, but the replay showed it clear as day..

Not playing our best game and only down 7 on the road. Score coming out of the half and we in good shape.

Pats should be up by a lot more than that. The Steelers aren’t as scary as they were made out to be.

I know the team is in position to clinch the division but it would be nice if they stop shooting themselves in the foot with drops and penalties and play with some urgency.

Hometown call.

The rule doesn't exist because the refs made it up because Goodell or something.

Seriously guys. It's a bad look to complain about that one. 100% the right call

Shin wasn't even down. His ankle maybe, shin was off the ground the whole time.

But they NEVER overturn bad spots when they are close, especially when the replay is inconclusive.

Half full: defense atrocious, offense anemic. Down 7 with ball.

Yeah, as disappointing as that half was, overall we're in a fine position considering this could easily be a 2 score game.

Team desperately needs a "refresh" button right now, hopefully the halftime provides it. Have looked off since that first Edelman drop.

All things considered we are fortunate to be down only 7. But there needs to be serious improvement on both ends to win this game. Offense especially so. They haven't done diddly squat since that one TD play.
