B.G.C. 2019 NFL Draft/Patriot-Type Players Thread

Just watched some tape on Otaro Alaka (Texas A&M) seems to be a very good player.

Good range, very solid tackler. Plays the run and pass very well. Reminds me a bit of KJ Wright when he was dominate for those Seahawk years. Definitely worth looking at. Have a third round grade on him at the moment.

Very smart guy, both on & off the field. Seems like a good dude from everything I've read.

He's a baller around the line I know that. I've seen him make his fair share of plays there.

Fulton might be the most overlooked guy in the country if he ends up declaring. So smooth. Feel like I've never seen him out of his spot. Always on his man's hip. Definitely made money this year. Physical, m2m guy that was right there w Greedy.

@BaconGrundleCandy It's a long thread, so apologies if I'm just forgetting that you posted about it already, but could you point me toward your thoughts on Jamal Peters?
Love him when he gets hands on his man, is decisive. Seems like he likes to mix it up. Prototype build listed at 6'2/220. Very physical. Footwork bothered me last year but I haven't looked that closely recently.

Thing that gets me nervous sometimes is these guys that can only play a certain style & get killed when their asked to play the other 30-40% of their coverage.

Lots of good qualities though. You like him?

Edit- Sorry literally been trying to post this since yesterday but work is crazy

This is like a drill from the combine. Loose hips, soft, quick feet & explosive, long strides

Everyone should be following Gavino

I feel exactly the same way & have expressed similar thoughts on DT. NFL ready w upside. Physical, rangy & great recognition skills. I believe he has upside as a nickel & could be a box defender after a year or two if things really go in his favor. Just a great prospect. I can't grade until #'s come out but I can't imagine him not being a top 10-15 player for me.

Honestly reminds me of Earl Thomas lite who I thought was HOF/Elite material at Texas.

Will be a huge need. There aren't many great SAF in the league as is. Playmaker.

He won't last past 15 so we'll have to trade up but we have plenty of ammo.

Getting a guy like Thompson & then maybe an Allen, Lawrence, Hockenson, Fant end of 1/early 2.

Charles Omenihu is another guy you have to know. Seems like a typical P-TP

Noah Fant is Gronk 2.0, from a receiving side of things. Havent seen footage of him blocking but id happily take him with one of our early picks. He's the closet thing we would have since Arron Herendez and Gronk combo.

Another guy is Albert Okwuegbunam - Again more of a pass receiving TE rather than a TE that can block and catch. Looks a very interesting guy. His Combine will project where he goes.

Pats fans gonna want him bad if he declares.
