NFL Week 14 games discussion

Is there any radio play by play guy more annoying than the Titans’? Those that listen to NFL Radio on Sirius know what I’m talking about. TOUCHDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNN TITANS!!!!!!
The Kansas City guy is pretty annoying too

The guy I'm facing in my fantasy league had Henry on the bench so good start so far :D

You may find it hard to believe but long time Pats fans know exactly how you feel. I just posted this in another thread a few minutes ago:
I hope Pat fans remember this. We were the laughing stock for many years. Not cool. An afterthought.

I don't care how you feel about Kraft, Bill or Brady. Statues should already be built on their honor.

This should be required reading for Pats fans. I gave our sons and older grandsons copies when it came out in '16.

Sean Payton showing signs of getting it:

“I do think that’s where analytics have changed in a positive way,” Payton said. “I think we’re more educated.”

So why does Payton wish he could have that fourth-and-goal decision back? Because each game is different, and in that Cowboys game, he knew points would be at a premium and went into the game thinking a field goal would be a positive result for any drive.

“I kick myself for two or three different situations in that game, not handling them the right way,” Payton said. “We have an opportunity to score, it’s fourth-and-1, I know our fourth down numbers are good, I felt like we had a good plan, and yet, in that game? Kick the field goal.

Sean Payton: Analytics have educated me, but some decisions I’d like back

Time, and future actions, will show us whether or not he really gets that there needs to be a balanced approach between raw percentages and feel for the game.

Trading away Fowler is still a head-scratcher.

It made sense to me.

Fowler was on the final year of his rookie deal. He was going to demand a large contract extension or walk in FA. Now, looking at his stats to date, it would be hard to justify handing him money that he would fetch in FA as a younger defensive end; we will also be pressed for cap space this offseason. Letting him walk we might have gotten a compensatory pick. By trading him, we ensured we got some return rather than nothing

Last night, the Titans were up 30-9 with 6 minutes left and opted to go for it on 4th and goal.

Kick that figgie, make it a 24 point lead, and milk the clock, IMO. The Titans are now 4-0 against the Jaguars the last two seasons...I'd not rub it in against a division rival. The Jags will remember this next year, IMO.
Kicking a FG is rubbing it in there, IMO. Going for it at least gives the D a chance to stop you.

The old Colts announcer was annoying too. Yelled like Kermit the frog mixed with Gilbert Gottfried.

I thought I heard he voluntold to resign after dropping the N-Bomb on the air. Saying racial slurs on the air = a bad idea 100% of the time but I guess some people haven’t figured that out yet. o_O

I had a (thankfullly) mini bout with food poisoning last night, woke up around 4 am feeling nauseated. Sat on the toilet a bit, no luck, tried some carbonated drinks which After some time did work a little and starting to feel better, figured just a few more sips and itll be completely gone. thought id listen to some football talk to pass the time till i feel good enough to go lay down again, and unfortunately the show with skip and shannon sharpe was among the first results and i chose it. After 3 minutes of shannon talking i felt like i had to puke again, worse than it was before i started my treatments. I turned off my ipad and finished the rest of my carbonated beverage. Within 10 minutes Of turning it off felt completely fine .

Guy literally makes me nauseous
