Post Game Thread - Pats beat Vikings

Gronk and Edelman need to do a few laps because of key (timing-wise) mistakes, and we may need a code red on Brown, but most of the day went about as well as we could have hoped.

My only minor complaint is I didn’t love the play calling at the end of the half and the first part of the 3rd quarter.

D limited two potential probowl WR so I happy about that

Gronk's second holding penalty was just bad luck. He was throwing his guy out da club when Jules cut to the outside and Gronk couldn't see him.

I thought the D was really interesting. Often just one down lineman and a bunch of guys milling around the LOS. It looked unpredictable and pretty quick.

Tells you all you need to know about how the coaching staff evaluated Cousins and his OL.

Anybody knows Melifonwu's snap count on defense in this game yet? Just curious.

we've seen this before...Rexy's Rats did the same thing to US up here and beat us in that playoff game...called it the "Amoeba D" or some wacky name...

I think that, to be fair, we need to acknowledge that Diggs was at less than 100%, which allowed the Patriots to cheat the defense a bit.

It seems pretty clear, from watching the play calling and QB decisions, that the Vikings and their QB have not evaluated their OL as a particularly good one.

Don’t have much to add. Just happy with a well balanced win vs a good team with a really good offense (maybe the best job by the defense all year), and balanced offense vs a really good defense.

Gonna need the offense that scored 30+ points a few weeks back to show up vs Pittsburgh in 2 weeks. IF they play the same way as today vs Miami next week, I’m pretty sure they win (and clinch the division), BUT, I think this offense will have to score 30+ to beat Pittsburgh in Pitt. On to Miami though, one game at a time. But us fans can think ahead ;)

Play calling was awful outside the 1st drive. Took forever to finally target Gordon (2 minutes left in the 3rd Q). It's been painful to watch for most of the year. I have no idea what's going on in Josh's mind for 75% of the drives this season.

At least the defense looked good today.

Guy, KVN, A.Butler, Harmon, JC, JJ, J-Mac, Simon making some big plays.

Most people here like to call them JAGs.

What about calling them LMRFPs: low maintenance* real ****ing players..
(* includes draft/trade invest., salary, on/off field drama..)
