Will Team Rally Around Brady after Media Criticism?

Pozzed Parker? Who?

Eric ****erson? Who? o_O :D

I am hoping for full-on high octane mode offense. No huddle hurry-up from the start, and not just for the opening drive but sustained after that. Do it Josh! Would love to see the reaction to another 500-yard passing game.

exactly how does 'rally around' someone work......how does the conversation go down?

just put rage against the machine "bulls on parade" and prodigy "breathe" on an endless loop in the locker room......that'll yield some results

apparently, mike lombardi is not high at all on this year’s patriots team

Michael Lombardi Says ‘This Is Not A Good Patriots Team’ — Is He Right?
Yes he is right...this team doesn't pass the eye test. This Patriots team is awful on the road. They have sucked all year on the road, they haven't looked good at all on the road, especially offensively, aside from a few drives vs Chicago.
In order to win on the road you need to score TOUCHDOWNS...through FIVE road games our Patriots have a TOTAL of EIGHT offensive tds...that's a joke considering the quarterback supposedly has all the answers to the test. Spare me the "weapons and injuries" argument - every team has injuries and some even have their top rb, top 1 or 2 in the league, not even report to the team.
For comparison (let's take 2 other teams competing for AFC byes), KC has TWENTY TWO offensive tds in their five road games and Pittsburgh has TWELVE in only 4 road games. More comparison? OK, let's take two supposedly schitty teams - the Jets and Cleveland. Through only FOUR road games the Jets have 7 offensive tds and Cleveland has 12 offensive tds in only FOUR games.
This year's Patriots are decent at home and downright terrible on the road. They can't score and they let guys like Blake Bortles, Derek Anderson, Matthew Stafford, and Mitch Trubisky move the ball up and down the field at will.
Also by way of comparison, the 2013 Patriots (a team many say was not a "good" Pats team) - with Brady throwing to Kenbrell Thompkins, Aaron Dobson, etc managed NINE offensive touchdowns in their first five road games, but that team was more competitve than this team on the road. The 2013 Patriots also went 2-3 on the road, but they were MUCH more competitive than this year's team. 2013 Pats lost by 7 in a monsoon at Cincinatti, lost in OT to the Jets, and by 4 to Carolina...
On what planet, other than planet "oh injuries etc" can people think this team is a good team? When have they looked good in any one game in all three phases? First halves vs Houston, KC and Chicago? so a total of 6 quarters of complete football in 10 games?
It's very telling that this year's Patriots have not put together ONE full good game - maybe GB?

But to contradict myself a bit...in the two games they've had "healthy" Michel, Edelman, and Gronkowski the Patriots put up 38 on Indianapolis and 43 on KC...problem is, not sure if we'll ever see Gronkowski healthy and utilized to his fullest and running all types of pass routes...

Depends on just how bad the back is. The ankle is something that will heal with rest. That's why I've been saying I would even be okay with sitting him during the Jetes game and bringing him back for Minnesota. That'll give him over a month off to rest it.

If it’s a high ankle sprain it’s going to bother him for the rest of the year. I’ve had one and nearly 2 years later it’s probably only at 97%. Gronk is younger than I am, and he's getting much better medical care, but this injury is tricky.

This teams margin of error is not such that they have the luxury of not playing 87 if he's ready, he'll have had an entire month off (I think)....if he's not ready after a month we can say sayonara to the 18 Gronkowski

In the last two super bowls, the team rallied around Brady due to “deflategate.” This year, so far Goodell has not manufactured any fake scandals against us. I am hoping that with all the media criticism about Brady being “finished” the team will once again circle the wagons. Not only the team but Brady himself has ALWAYS played with a chip on his shoulder. They need something to get them going and the media may have helped. Here is just a sampling of some of the garbage I am seeing this week:

My favorite has to be this -

Let’s hope the Tennessee game was the turning point en route to Lombardi #6.
