It's not at the top of the list, but I've always considered Mark Sanchez eating a hot dog during a game against the Raiders as pretty much summarizing what the Jets are about. (He's wearing the throwback Titans uniform.)

That time when the Patriots conspired to deflate game balls at the same rate/level that would happen naturally based on game temperature/conditions...that was awesome.

or the time when the refs told the ravens not to cover a guy and they did anyways and then harbawl cried

Buttfumble. But not just that play. The entire sequence where the Pats scored 21 points in under 60 seconds. Remember the play right after Buttfumble, the Jets coughed up a kick off return in mid air and Edelman returned it for a TD.

The Colts fake punt by itself was the biggest WTF moment I've ever seen in football.

Right now...the biggest WTF moment in the NFL this season for me is the Derek Carr crying for his team mates to help him up after a sack and the internet turning it into a meme for him crying for his mom. It does not top the Falcons Superbowl collapse.

Either the Smoking hot brunette chick and a beautiful face black girl both scoping out my ass at the same time, right in front of my mother and girlfriend, and while I was drinking mass quantities of alcohol for charity, then both giving me their numbers and telling me that they were willing to have all 3 of us get together later that night, or the night where the smoking hot blonde was pissed at her boyfriend (whom I didn't know about), came into the bathroom, and performed unspeakable sex acts with me for about an hour before going back to the party and talking to her boyfriend as if she hadn't just spent an hour having things done to her that would shame a farm animal.

What? It had to be about some sport I was watching?

That was an all time g move. He’s eating a hot dog on the sideline like he doesn’t take the Raiders seriously.

As great as the buttfumble is, it happened so fast and wasn't really funny until replay upon replay was shown.

The biggest WTF moment as it happened was Dan Connolly's kick return. It's such a long moment...just continued way longer than it should have. For several seconds all you can think about is where are the tacklers? Crazy he almost scored on that play.

Regards,
Chris

Forgot about this gem. One of the most bizarre things I’ve seen from a sideline reporter. My initial thoughts were “what the f*** was that?”

I think it was ‘01 when David Patten was lying half out of bounds unconscious against the Bills and “recovered” his own fumble. The ball basically landed under his legs and counted as a recovery out of bounds. I think we won a low scoring game in OT. Seems like a lifetime ago.

Mark Sanchez was a breathing walking cartoon character. How about the time he nonchalantly wiped his booger on Mark MyHeartWeepsForTheKids Brunell (Boogernell)?

Not the greatest one, but remember the time Kyle Arrington lined up as a DE and rushed the passer for a few downs?

Adam the QB threw a TD.
I think you’re remembering the regular season game against the Rams from October ‘01 where Vinateri threw a TD pass. Although they lost 24-17, it was a positive sign of things to come. Of course, we got them back in the SB at the end of the year, and that’s what matters.
