OFFICIAL POST GAME THREAD - Patriots Beat Bills

Brady's 15 wins in Buffalo made him the 3rd winningest QB in Buffalo despite never playing there.

My guess is it was wrong. Looking back Bledsoe alone played in 16 games for the Bills each year from 2002-2004 and they went 8-8, 6-10 and 9-7.

Maybe he was the 2nd name on the list but I don't think so.
23 wins for Bledsoe, but not all in Buffalo. I do think Brady is #1. Edit - 18 for Bledsoe - see above

Ok yeah that makes more sense. I just went back and edited my post then realized I had forgotten about the games Drew won in Buffalo while playing for us so yeah he's 3rd, Brady is 4th.

So Brady comes home and says to Gisele "hey babe, let's go to Buffalo sometime.." Gisele responds by marching into the offices of Dewey, Screwem and Howe demanding immediate divorce action....

do not care what the **** Jim Kelly's record is nor the records of any of the other cretins that played there. That place is the azzole of the country and I hope Brady shyts down their necks the rest of his career and AFTER...

Good to see NE get out of there with a win.

Not thrilled with Brady's game, though. Could easily have had a few more picks (and what was he thinking with that lame duck floater to White in the right flat -- got lucky there). And some off-target throws even when not pressured. Perhaps the most egregious one of those was when White was open at the goal line for a likely TD and an unpressured Brady threw it about 5 feet short.

In any event, the whole team better kick it up a notch for next week.

With three bildos being thrown on the field, that matches the amount of passing touchdowns that the Bills have thrown this year. Josh Allen has two passing touchdowns, Nathan Peterman has one, and Derek Anderson has zero on the season.

Bills fans are better at throwing bildos than Bills QBs are at TDs

LOL! yes! my prayers have been answered! Thank you bills mafia! HAHAHAHA! :D

I loved Patterson at RB and he wasn't completely awful for his first game doing it.

Anyone who didn't love seeing our gadget guy 6'4" WR line up in the backfield is someone who hates fun.

Patterson grew 2 inches?

I've noticed in some threads the little bluebird icon of Twitter. How does one go about opening the tweet to see its significance to the context of the thread?

Not the best game, but a divisonal win is almost always tough. They got the job done and their 6-2. Sometimes you just got to acknowledge the other team plays football too and tip your cap. Bills defense played well for a good part of the game.

They just lost to a better team for the 29th time in the Brady era is all:p
I'm excited by the defense creating turnovers. Sure this wasn't a great offensive effort, but the defense has been my chief area of concern for this team since week 1. If we can put together a mediocre defense that can make occasional game changing plays, this team can make a deep run. If we don't, however, I can't see us winning back-to-back-to-back games against the likes of the Steelers, Chiefs, and Rams. Especially if Bell comes back.

I got it to work refreshing.

You should be able to click on the tweet, and that will (hopefully) open the “thread” where you can see other responses from twitter users.

Don't wanna judge Patterson too hard for not doing well at RB because on most plays the blocking was horrible. When we get Michel back I'd like to see Patterson still used in the backfield and also running routes from the backfield. If the defense isn't fully expecting a run I think 84 could, in fact, be an effective RB.
For someone who isn't a running back, 3.8 yards a carry doesn't seem awful. Particularly given some of the cluster****s he was asked to run into.

Defenses that make Brady look like s**t (In no particular order):

1. Dolphins when they had Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Sam Madison, Patrick Surtain, etc.
2. 2005 Broncos
3. Jim Johnson style defense (Spagnolo/McDermott)
4. Rex Ryan defense

On another note, I can't stand Scott Van Pelt after the game. Why they decided to give him a show rather than their standard "Sports Center" is beyond me.
Speaking of that, who were those assholes doing the game tonight? Brutal!

For anyone that thought McCourty was getting slow. His INT return reached the fastest top speed of any ball carrier this season.

With all do respect, top end speed isn’t a true sign of someone getting slow. It’s Burst, it’s things like hip tightness, ability to start and stop. It’s those that he hasn’t looked the same.

you'd have cut Ronnie Lott after his third season with the Niners.McCourty KNOWS how to play in this defense...just like Rodney did when he was a turtle slow safety.

Glad McCourty finally made a play in the secondary.

Gordon looks like s**t. He still can't separate. He should've caught that first pass, but the other pass from Brady were terrible.

You put DMac into the role as FS that earned him the big contract instead of using him as matchup chess piece and good things happen.

Gordon didn't look like ****, had separation vs White on that first deep pass but was expecting it to his outside shoulder but it came inside and was a hard (and failed) adjust.

Biggest thing I noticed was that Patterson seemed not to see the cutback lanes that were open the way White and Michel would. Curious that they didn't use Barner more, though.

I think this was another "experimental" game where the coachings staff felt pretty much in the driver's seat all game and wanted to see how CP could do as emergency depth.

No way to simulate full speed collisions in practice.
