50+ pass attempts:

Brady: 13-7 , 6-2 playoffs
Brees: 4-13, 0-2 playoffs
Rodgers: 1-4, 0-0 playoffs
Manning: 4-13 , 0-0 playoffs

40-49 pass attempts:

Brees: 38-52 (12-25 for 45-49 attempts), 1-4 playoffs
Rodgers: 12-20 (3-6 for 45-49 attempts), 2-4 playoffs

Fewer than 60 yards rushing for the quarterback's offense:

Brady: 12-14, playoffs 6-2 (Won SB vs Seattle, lost SB and perfect season)
Brees: 7-29, playoffs 2-2 (none with Chargers, Won SB vs Colts)
Rodgers: 6-7 , Playoffs 1-0 (Steelers in SB)
Manning: 17-27 (14-21 Colts, 3-6 Broncos) , 1-5 playoff (1-4 Colts, 0-1 Broncos)

Not sure if it’s available, but it’d be interesting to see yards per attempt or yards per catch for all of those too.

Indoor/outdoor correlation is always a nice touch as well

Four awesome QBs. I enjoyed watching them all.

The one guy who scared me the most was Peyton. With the weapons he had, and his skill set, it was always a great matchup I anticipated. I never enjoyed a win more than against Peyton's Colts.

Outside of the big four, who's the next guy over the past 20 years or so? Phillip Rivers?

There should be a book written at the end of Brady's and Brees' careers, looking back at the great QBs of all time. Ranking them even. I'm not a huge fan of ranking guys who are all elite, but it'd be a great read to look at all the accomplishments.

There was a basketball book, "Who's Better, Who's Best", that looked at all the great NBA players over the years. It was a fun read to read about how players were regarded over by their peers and historians.

You can probably make a case for Warner, Roethlisberger or Rivers. On the surface it's Warner but given he was only success in STL and AZ where he played inside surrounded by HOF talent and then sucked outside in NY with lesser talent I'd mark him way down. It's not like he was a little bit off. His splits are much worse outside and in NY. I'll grant NY was a small sample size and he was a placeholder for Eli. After the team in STL aged his numbers dipped a lot as well.

The OP broke the 19-9 down to regular season (13-7) and post season (6-2).

gotcha

anyway haters will just say

'pats dink and dunk short passing game is just an extension of their running game!'

And it's very consistent with TB12 ...

Favorite Ring? The next one.

Favorite Receiver? The open one.

Favorite Play? The best one.

He has an ego - no doubt. However, his ego does not feed on highlight plays or Me moments, it feeds on wins. I swear his press conference after a win where his stat line is 0-0-0-0 would be almost identical to one where he went 23-30-300-3.

Yup - Brady can Dink and Dunk - and he'll laugh his ass off when he gets the W for his efforts.

All of these happened when I was watching the game indoors.

Except the haters are wrong. Brady has led the league in deep-ball accuracy several times in his career. When he's had wrs capable of catching deep balls, he's been one of the best.

I’m guessing that it would clearly be Roethlisberger. He’s taken them to 3 Super Bowls, played a long career with the same team, and is still very productive.

For me, Philip Rivers would be next in line, with Kurt Warner after that.

There are actually people who think the TD to Gordon was an inaccurate/bad decision pass

Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisburger and now Goff and Mahomes do it and "IT'S SUCH A GREAT PLAY AND THROW BY THEM" Brady does it and it's chalked up "got lucky"

This is what I call delusional hate.

I can agree with that.

Interesting that Ben made it to the SB 3 times in his first 7 years in the league. I recall their defense being pretty darn good at the time. If Rivers had that defense, would he have had the same success?

Given how good those early Patriots Ds were, Manning never worried me until Polian got stuck into the rules committee and the ******** started.
