Would be a good move.
He tore his Achilles tendon on December 10th, but he must feel that he's close to playing now.
It seems that CB is the Only position where we have anything even closely resembling quality - if unproven - depth, so I don't see him being invited here for a workout.

Breealand is intriguing but Belichick seems to like what he sees from Rowe.

Breeland cant even pass a physical right now.
 
Phillips made some strong plays against the Patriots last year. I am surprised they let him go. Attitude issues? Seems odd timing.


The usual . complained about playing time.
How did you have him as Pat type pre-draft?
 
They need to figure out how to clear some cap space.
