Adam Vinatieri breaks NFL's field goal record with No. 566

Still not going to wear the Vinatieri jersey during next Pats SB. Not saying what happened when i did.

I kinda thought it would be nice if it happened against us. Preferably in a blow out win against the Colts they drag him out for a meaningless field goal where he can get a standing ovation

I think the Patriots will find a way to honor future NFL HOF'er Adam on Thursday. It's long overdue and it won't be the last honor he will receive from the Patriots. Hopefully the Patriot Pinkhats will stop embarrassing all us legit Patriot fans and will give him the long standing O he has so richly deserved for a long time.

I almost forgot about how good he was on kickoff coverage duty. He actually made some nice tackles early in his career.

A long standing O sounds complicated, loud, messy, and not PG enough for the NFL

Mr. Automatic. No pressure, No other more clutch.

Belichick talking about Vinateiri

“I would say it was by far the greatest kick I have ever seen,” Belichick said. “The conditions were very difficult. There were probably three to four inches of snow on the ground. It was a soft snow that kind of didn’t go away. I mean, there was no way to get around it. The magnitude of the kick was significant. It’s got to be the greatest kick of all time, certainly that I’ve seen.”

“Certainly, in my opinion, the greatest kicker in the game
. Not just for his longevity and production but again, the magnitude of some of the kicks that he made and the difficulty — particularly the one that you mentioned.”

Bill Belichick fondly recalls Adam Vinatieri’s snow kick

Awesome. He’s as deserving as it gets.

undrafted, he was def diamond in the rough. shoulda pay the man! he’s kinda invisible in indy...

He probably would of got this record 3 or 4 years ago had he played his whole career in New England.

Even though he left for the money, played with the forehead and that weirdo owner of the dolts, just can’t hate the guy. Seems like a genuine nice guy and owns 3 of the top 5 greatest kicks in the history of the game. In my book the top 3, starting with the Oakland game as #1.
