Bently!? Ok, this LB corps is in serious trouble.

Still no ILB.

Both Burkhead and Bentley are eligible to return.
Everyone placed on IR after the cutdown to 53 is eligible to return. People don't have to be designated as eligible when placed on IR anymore.

Time to call Woodhead

I can't really ***** about anything after 12 AFCCGs, 8 SB trips and 5 titles. I've been blessed to get so much satisfaction watching this team year in and year out. Only the 49ers fans can remotely relate to this.

If being relegated to the fan status of perennial also-rans like KC or Green Bay, I can deal with that. Especially with Tom Brady and BB having some say in the matter of who's king.

Go back to enjoying the games, rooting for victory, rather than expecting victory and freaking out when they don't. We used to do that. You haven't forgotten how, unless you're under the age of 30 I guess.

Regards,
Chris

Did anyone know that Bentley was even hurt? Can you place an entire draft class on IR? This seems a little ridiculous. The late round guys I think were "stashed" on IR. Who knows if Dawson even exists! He is the Snuffleupagus of the Patriots draft class. I can't ever remember even seeing this guy play or practice. He might be BB imaginary friend for all we know.

So now the LB corps is the shell of Hightower, Van Noy, Roberts? and that's it? So to compensate for this they sign yet another defensive lineman?????

What are they going to do move to the old 6-2 defense?

So we went from having the worst WR core and now also the worst LB core in the NFL

Love the kid, but he is 33... not sure how much he has left in the tank considering he’s retired. Vereen is available too; he was IRed by the Saints but released with an injury settlement. Webb could be promoted; Darkwa is around.

LB, I’ve got nothing.

I want one more Super Bowl well actually 2, I always wanted us to surpass the Steelers (6), but hopefully we'll be able to tie em atleast, that really bothers me.

Rex with his final tap out. Pats move on from him this offseason.

Good player but him being fragile is an understatement.

I'm not surprised about Burkhead with a neck injury after a concussion, but Bentley going on IR is deeply disappointing. He's been perhaps the only bright spot not named Gilmore on the entire defense.

Running back is now a desperate need. Kenjon Barner is not the answer but he's sure to play on Sunday. Surprises me that Darkwa's still available. Maybe DeMarco Murray wants to play again. Shane Vereen might be an option. Jamaal Charles? Fat Eddie? Cupboard's pretty bare.
maybe they can trade for Bell lol

.........Ok.....you all can “officially” go ahead & disrespect Da Burkmeister......you have my blessing

...But not too severely....
