They're expected to lose to Jacksonville. Bowles won't be fired after that game -- especially playing a rookie QB. I don't see Bowles losing his job during the season. Maybe afterward, but not during.

It'll likely take going 5-11 or worse. 7-9 he's safe. 6-10... toss up.

You crazy
No, it's true. The Browns don't even have their own 7th in the next draft. It went to Miami, with a #4, for Jarvis Landry

If winning NOW was important to that rancid organization they would've kept and started Bilgewater. Now they're about to go 1-3 en route to ruining Darnit. Whoever coaches that team is starting to become irrelevant.

The good news is let's see, it costs us nothing. NY Jets fans are angered. It was Bowles that lost the game last night like a few other losses.

We're angry?

Bates called a pitiful game, but I'm not angry.

Bates! The OC! That's who you're blaming? Darnold completed 8 bubble screens. The rest of the night, he was 7/23 for 90 yards and 2 INT.

Ever think there was a REASON they were calling all those bubble screens?

Your QB sucks. He is the PRIMARY reason you lost the game. Everyone else you name isn't nearly as responsible as the QB and his pathetic display.

Omg! For reals?

No, poor execution lost that game, not coaching.

OF COURSE you're not angry, because you EXPECT the Jete to lose! But blaming Bates for the loss is moronic. Darnit is in WAY over his head, proven by the FACT he has thrown two game-killing interceptions in each of his last two outings. Poor execution (including on defense) -- not coaching -- wrecked the Jete chances.

You haven't been paying attention if you put week 2's 2nd INT on Sam.

He was the quarterback, right? I hope you're not referring to that "bullet" into the end zone Miami snagged. That alone could be considered the difference-maker.

It looked to me like those sceen passes, running plays, and designed isolation passes were the only reason the Jets moved the ball. Early returns say Darnold is too much of a rhythm passer and will be inconsistent, much like his last year at USC. Too much reliance on instinct alone. Don’t worry, with a little help he may be the next Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Yup that one.

Way too early to say. Especially with his 2nd n 3rd games on short weeks.

I'm sure he was talking about the touch on that pop fly into double coverage to end it yesterday.

Or that he threw so hard, those two other dropped INTs by LBs with pizza paddles for hands really shows off his arm strength.

I’m sure all the Jets fans were dismissing this a Thursday Night fluke when you were up 14-0.

That was early in the 2nd quater I believe. Who is confident being up two scores in the 2nd?

Curious who you put that pick on?

The guy who apologized for messing up the route, and who everyone immediately knew was at fault.

Hell, even Yahoo Fantasy knew it...
Terrelle Pryor caught 4-of-8 targets for 84 yards in the Jets' Week 2 loss to the Dolphins.
Advice: Pryor's worst play was an end-zone route he appeared to cut short, causing Sam Darnold's second interception.

How many times have we heard this story: fan base gets excited about drafting “savior” quarterback. Quarterback plays poorly and blame shifted to offensive coordinator, offensive line, skill players, overall team culture, injuries, short rest, uniform color, schedule, lack of support. I think you’re already onto at least four of these.

Patience.
