Jackson: Buccaneers can't take Fitzpatrick out

Ryan Fitzpatrick, product out of Harvard University football, is leading the league with 819 passing yards through 2 games and a ton of TD's. DeSean Jackson is vouching for him to keep playing, because he's on fire like NBA Jam.

Check out the press conference outfit the QB is wearing in the article, he's clearly enjoying this run of Fitzpatrick-sanity :)

The thing Desean doesn't realize (yet) is that it doesn't usually last for a full 16 games and once it drops off, it's done. Though, to be fair, that's usually after a prove it year and then a contract extension.

As long as he's playing lights out like this, I don't see how you can go back to Winston. Of course it won't last, but you have to ride the hot hand.

I’m kinda liking the Fitzmagic story this season, even though the Bucs cost me in an elimination league when they beat the Saints week 1.

Poor guy suffered through playing with trash teams like the Bills and Jets. Let him have a bit of time in the sun, as long as it doesn’t effect the Pats.

Welp, it lasted about 15 games for Fitzpatrick in 2015 until he collapsed in the last game. Maybe this time he’ll last 16?

People don’t realize how loaded their weapons are. Evans, Jackson, Chris Godwin, Howard, Brate. Fitz has a lot to work with right now.

I just want one more monster game from him against the Steelers. I think that would be their knockout punch for the 2018 season and maybe this entire “championship window.” I’d hate to see a team like that still hanging around, though seemingly left for dead, like Baltimore in 2012 or Denver in 2015, when it was the last chance for those core players.

It's "no pressure" football so far
When expectations begin to rise.....everything changes
Ride the wave

I wonder if Fitzy is making Winston go get him crab legs...

I forgot to add he's 35 years old. Trying to think of a parallel for him. Might he have a small chance at a Rich Gannon-like career, as a very very late bloomer? I forget how old Rich Gannon was until he became good.....

Getting away from those awful Jete does wonders for a quarterback.
