kiss my ass. i dont like the trade. thats not trolling you idiot. hes a potentional DUI and a mental case. he cant even show up to meetings on time.
GFY **** for brains lol. clown.
As someone pointed out on Twitter, the Pats have traded their 5th every year since 2011......the latest being for Patterson in the spring.
I knew someone would ***** about a conditional 5th for a potential gramebreaking WR.
You need more sunshine in your life....or troll somewhere else.
If he ends up sticking in NE, the Browns get a 5th round pick.kiss my ass. i dont like the trade. thats not trolling you idiot. hes a potentional DUI and a mental case. he cant even show up to meetings on time.

Never said he was washed up. I am simply curious how far removed he is from his 2013 form. As far as the TD in week one... i don't know what you're talking about. He gets the outside sure, but he never got even a half step of separation up the field. Let alone a step and a half. He MAY have had separation on other plays, but i didn't get to watch the game. I would be curious if we could find a video showing all his routes for that game and how he did.
This dude was an all-pro...in 2013!
It’s been a full five years. His skill level is unlikely to be anything near what it once was. His confidence, focus, and commitment are clearly never coming back.
The optimism here reminds me of the Albert Haynesworth signing. Total dud who should have conceivably been able to return to his dominant form, under the right environment, but he isn’t going to.
Move on.
Last week...

I do think we can question how much straight line speed is there at this point. He had a good game last season vs Pitt but on the one really big play he makes when he gets behind people we can't really tell if he out ran his guy or if it was a break down in coverage. Also while you criticize Kizer it is worth noting Tom Brady couldn't have thrown that one big pass any better than Kizer did. Even bad QBs can make a few amazing passes or have a few amazing games.
in 2017 he got 18 catches for 335 yards but it took 42 targets to do it. Is that on the QB or was he not getting open a lot? I have no idea honestly.
I am not saying he can't potentially be good. I am certainly not saying he is washed up. I'm saying I don't know how good he will be. He almost certainly won't be prime Josh Gordon. I think he will give the Patriots something. I just don't know what yet and i'm not going to get my hopes up.
To put it purely as a statistical thing how many yards can we expect out of him? 300? 500? 800? 1200? I don't have any idea. I hope a lot but I just don't know how much is there at this point.
I can see busting BBs chops for an unconditional 5th on a burn out. But if Josh doesn't play 10 games they are covered.Agreed, the Patriots' 5th round picks in the last decade:
JaWhaun Bentley
Joe Cardona
Marcus Cannon
Lee Smith
Zoltan Mesko
George Bussey
The jury's still out on Bentley, but of the others Cannon is the only one you wouldn't give up with zero hesitation for a shot at Gordon's upside, and he was only even available there because he dropped a ton and missed a year on account of having cancer.
Given the level of talent that's generally available in the 5th round, trading that pick for the chance to get a useful version of Gordon is pretty obviously a good call.
ok. thanksIf he ends up sticking in NE, the Browns get a 5th round pick.
If he can’t beat the drug habit, the Patriots get a 7th round pick back.
Expect the Pats to draft near the end of round 5, the Browns to draft near the beginning of Round 7.
That means NE is getting test drive on Gordon which, if it fails, will cost them about 35 spots on the 3rd day of the draft.
The part of the draft that trends toward being a complete crap shoot anyway.
The price was negligible.
Last point in this tweet is interesting - apparently it was supposed to be a 6th rounder, but the Pats don't have one. So no one else was willing to go for more than a 6th, it looks like.
why waste the pick at all?
