Stay off the damn weeeeeeeed

Awesome trade. We needed this badly.

Tbh, I think it'll be rough sledding for a couple more weeks as the team gets things together, but I seriously can't wait until Edelman's back and Gordon's gotten a couple weeks with the playbook. Hopefully he won't need too long if he's only being counted on as the third or fourth option. You gotta think Brady's ecstatic.

Add in development from Michel and Coleman (assuming they still keep him), and this offense could really look otherwordly by December.

Edit: Ah just saw they're cutting Coleman. Somewhat disappointing, but understandable. Michel was the bigger piece of that statement anyway, and other guys like Hollister will still be around developing too.

I hope this won’t be the only move they make this season. If the defense keeps struggling get a piece defensively if you can.

Agreed. Maybe they can just keep the 5th rounder for Myles Garrett.

Wtf. That's such a low cost. So it's only for a fifth, and if Gordon is active for 10 of the next 14 games, they get a late round pick back. So if it works out it barely cost anything, and if it doesn't work out, it basically cost nothing.
The cost tells you how desperate the Pats were and how toxic the market was for Josh.

If Bill wasn't so secure in his position no ways does he do this.

The benefit of having 5 rings and an owner who wants to win and get the valuation to $4.5b

Cutting Coleman

Why not cut Patterson instead of Coleman. He's horrible and the gadget plays suck.

Learning the playbook is a walk in the park compared to staying sober for Josh. I wish him the best.

Regards,
Chris

wahoooooo

that is all

He looked great in NO too...statistically, his worst season was taking catches from BRady...Brady seems to not be as able to take advantage of a talent like that

Brady is over 40. When Brady was 30 he set records with moss

I've said before & stand by that Gordon, when healthy, is in the WR1 discussion. Like best WR in the league not on this team. Not sure most understand the impact he'll have here, if he's healthy. He's not Moss but easily the most talented guy we've had here since. By miles.

And I'm saying"healthy" bc his issues aren't smoking pot. Never has been. He has some internal issues going on. He's not some "drunk or pothead".

I couldn't be more excited. We're getting a tremendous player for basically nothing.

Posted it a few minutes ago but good luck defending Edleman, Gordon, Gronk, Hogan, Dorsett, CP, Michel, Rex & White w Brady making decisions.

If Gordon screws this up he is one big dummy. He can cash in for one last big pay day in a couple of years.

Why not cut Patterson instead of Coleman. He's horrible and the gadget plays suck.

Gadget plays may work better with more spacing. Right now Patterson's presence is so easy to read as an attempt to get him the ball. IF Gordon actually plays and plays well, and Edelman returns strong, Patterson would be much better as an afterthought who can do damage than someone they are counting on to make 5 plays each game.
