Well, it looks like Kansas City has their QB

He gets rid of the ball really quickly, both his release and decision making. Some guys have a “rocket arm” but it doesn’t matter much; he has a rocket arm and it doesn’t effect his accuracy. I think he’s legit. Fun to watch, especially against the Steelers.

Andy Reid has not failed at picking and making his QB look very good, he is always great at it. But, he hasn't prove that he can win at the critical time yet. KC has a lot speed and it is tough to deal with.

We better figure things out on defense or he’ll be doing the same thing to us week 6.
KC has the type of offense that will cause this defense tons of issues.

KC last year, PHI, JAX (arguably both games). I’m not sure how this year is any better against those types of teams.

Dude, I am already having nightmares with Tyreek Hill's crosses across the field with no one even close to him

Hill, Watkins, Hunt, Mahomes, Kelce—the list goes on. Unless they take an entirely different defensive approach, that game has disaster written all over it.

This is true in general. Guys like McNabb, Foles 1.0, and Alex Smith were much more successful due to Reid.

But Mahomes is absolutely incredible. I’m sure Reid improves his play, too, but in terms of physical talent and quick decision making, the guy looks absolutely out of the world, possibly more gifted than Aaron Rodgers. He has a super fast release, scans the entire field, and throws a absolute lasers right on a dime. If you didn’t see the game today, there’s a Google search result for Mahomes that shows every pass he attempted in the game. KC has some great weapons, but a lot of these passes were just ridiculous. This isn’t like Alex Smith shovel passing and throwing screens and then hitting a guy wide open downfield. He is just really damn good...and I’m usually very skeptical about young QBs.

That Mitch Trubisky pick is looking worse by the day. I can’t believe, just based on physical tools alone, he got drafted ahead of Mahomes and Watson.

As good as Mahomes looks will reserve judgement until the end of the year..

In the next 14 games of the regular season some team will figure out how to slow him down and his weaknesses... it is a copycat league.

If the defense plays like they did yesterday, that will be a slaughter. Luckily Edelman will be back and we’ll have a few more games of tape on him by then.

The game will be a shootout
KC can go 80 yards in 2 plays if Hill doesn't score TDs on every kickoff or punt ...while NE's move the chains offense needs 13.
The notion that Rowe might be covering Hill will give me night terrors.

KCs D is dog ****.

Might need to add a 2nd processor for the scoreboard

For that reason, when it really matters, I'm not concerned with them

We've seen this before with RG3 and Deshaun Watson where they looked like future superstars in their first 6-7 games, the 2nd year tells a lot when there's more film.

If only Andy Reid could coach the end of games, that team would be scary. Their defense doesn't impress, but Reid is an all time great play caller.

If.....then....

If KCs D is dog ****, then NEs D is _______

Alex Smith (2017 KC) ....368 yds....4 TDs.....42 points
Nick "Bucky fu*%ing Dent" Foles......373 yds.....3 TDs.....41 points
Blake "I shine once a year" Bortles.....377 yds.....4 TDs......31 points

A prolific list of passers
Smith.......jettisoned
Foles....place card holder
Bortles......career passer rating ....81

The good news: Eric Rowe will likely cover Tyreek Hill with Jason McCourty over the top protection.
:)
I'm not commenting on our D. I'm commenting on KCs.
