It would just be nice if one of our first round/top overall (yes, I know that Michel is not that) picks could actually get on the field in their first season.

Any news on move TE Jacob Hollister I think he's going to be a Beast in this Offense along side Gronk.

Journalist: "Sony, what's been the hardest part of the Patriots' playbook to grasp?"

SM: "Spacing. Definitely spacing. Like, I need to be close enough to James that I can take advantage of the blocks he's giving me, but not so close that he accidentally blows out my knee, ya know?"

Honestly I'm less concerned with how he'll play. There's no question about his talent. I'm more interested in how much he'll play and if he can string together consecutive weeks without being rested or "managed". That injury is no joke and how much he plays as the season goes on will be telling for the longevity of his career.

For anyone interested, this piece sums up his situation pretty well.

Doctor Worried About Sony Michel's Career

I have never been a guy that had a binky..so to speak, other than that Troy Brown was a favourite of mine all his career, but I have to say that watching Sony play college ball and when the Pats drafted him, I got the feeling he would be not just special but extra special, so I now openly declare I have a new binky. Injuries aside, this guy will be the real deal.
Then again, what do I know.

I hope you realize that you just jinxed him.

Hes needed this week, doubt burkhead can last another 18 carry game

Update:

Kyed reports that Burkhead actually participated in positional drills at the start of practice

Michel still limited - Burkhead possibly out. Not the match to be without running game..

Only time will tell I guess, but if so, that will be my last binky. I feel good about this though.
I am allowed one every twenty years..no ??
