Patriots Sign WR Corey Coleman

I know why he had a problem with dropping balls, coach ability etc. he was in buffalo and cleaveland. That’s an automatic double hex.

He may have even been blowing it on purpose
This is like Brandon Cooks for League minimum Belichick is a genius.
This guy can take the top off a defense.

It’s a good plan. I can see belichick laughing like doctor evil. And no one can stop me. Not even. Goodells powers

Wish the team was better at drafting WR and we wouldn't be having to go thrift shopping.

I don't disagree, but it's funny that you point to another team's 1st round bust as reason to complain about our own struggles with drafting receivers. At least we didn't spend 15 overall on our homegrown failures. :)

Haley was hard on dude however I don't think he would talk to Josh like that.
Now I'm not a coach but I saw incredibly uncatchable balls.
Haley getting on Coleman for bad throws.

That is the only catch he made all day. 69 snaps 40 passes.
A quick search reveals that he wasn't even targeted until the 4th quarter, when it was pouring rain... with Tyrod Taylor as his QB.

Good grief. Only on this forum would people be trying to pimp Coleman over Gordon. Gordon is light years better than Coleman and it isn't even remotely close. And I'm cautiously optimistic about this signing.

I have minimal expectations for Coleman here (but ever hopeful) but I wonder whether this is his purpose here

If he can help take Ramsey out of the game by being a deep threat presence then who knows? Unless of course Ramsey takes Gronk which seems very possible.

Go deep young man!

Other than Cools being proven, having pretty good hands, being able to run a full route tree, being able to pick up a new scheme and being (reportedly) a good teammate.

Coleman is a disgruntled version of Bethel Johnson. He can run straight faster than many. That's literally all he's proven he can do in the NFL.

Coleman over the last two years: 56 catches for 718 yards and 5 TDs.

Gordon over that same period? 19 catches for 352 yards and 2 TDs.

Checkmate. ;)

Here is the knock on Coleman when he was coming out of college:

"He wasn't asked to run a full route tree in college with almost all of his production coming on hitches, in-cuts and go patterns."

We get to see how long the Pats will give him to be productive..

Todd Haley is a drunken dooch.

Brian Daboll is a sub-standard coordinator.

I think its fair to say Coleman has had ****ty coaching since Day 1.

If anyone can get the most out of him, its BB.

His athleticism is off the charts. 4.39 40 and 40.5 vertical (wow !) at the combine. Allegedly was timed at 4.32 back in high school. His last year in college, caught 20 td passes ! So the talent is there. Is the dedication, Intelligence and heart there ? That’s going to be the main question.
So he possess Cat like quickness. That is a good start.
