Speculation on Jeremy Hill's injury

Ok dead serious though. Here is the best list I can find of available free agents... admittedly I don't know much about guys on other teams practice squads etc...

Jamal Charles
Demarco Murray
Orleans Darkwa
Shane Vereen
Eddie Lacy

Murray is retired.

Pats had Darkwa in for a visit in April. They passed.

Charles is a possibility I guess.

Vereen is another White.

Lacy is at Red Robin

Andre Williams from BC sucks but hes a bigger RB like Hill.

MCL sprain is painful but not as serious. Rodgers sprained his and came back in the game. Ligament burns for a while but knee stability is not bad . For running back it's more of an issue since knees get whacked and banged around more than QB.

Hard saying but I'll guess 2 -4 weeks. If total tear, then bye bye IR.

Bone headed play by Devlin. Real bone headed. The moment he dove at Jeremy Hill, I knew he wasn’t getting up.

If it’s a ACL, I think his career is over. He had a hard enough time finally shaking off his initial injury.

He looked great before that unfortunate injury.

And why is it taking so long for an update?
Our coaches will wait until the very last minute to provide their weekly injury update.

That doesn't sound like something a guy who expects to play this year would say.
It is inconclusive. It sounds as though someone is inclined to wait for guidance from above.

Agreed. I am sure if there was a great option out there they would already be on a team.... Looks like if anything it will be Ralph Webb.

I'll take Mild MCL for 200 Alex

None of these guys is better than replacement-level. Denver passed on Charles, and their RBs are worse than ours. Murray is retired, Lacy was practically gifted a job in the Seahawks backfield and couldn't hold onto it because he's bad at football. Darkwa and Vereen interest me a little, the former because he has some talent and the latter because he's already played for us. But Vereen is basically a worse, injury-prone version of James White and Burkhead, so I'm not sure what he brings to the roster except injury insurance. The Pats already brought in Darkwa IIRC, so maybe he'll get a call this week if Hill is done.

I really wouldn't worry about it, though. One-dimensional, replacement-level RB talent is one of the easiest things in the league to find. Losing Burkhead or White would worry me since they have unusual skill-sets, but Hill is more or less a replacement-level RB, maybe a bit better but not a lot.

Yea I'm not ready to say hes done.

When The Cat got hurt everyone in the press reported those close to DLew said he felt a "Pop" and even Chao said it was an ACL. Same for Jules.

I've read everything known to man today on Hill and I'm not reading that specifically.

So I will hope (but the hit sure didn't look good).

I think I saw him at the Golden Corral last time I visited :D

Neanderthal play by Develin, I hope they showed that a few times in the film room and gave him a ton of **** for it

Just plain dumb
