First Time In Gillette

Without wanting to start a new thread, do single season tickets go on sale to the public any more? I've had a bit of a look around it said last year tickets went on sale in July but there's nothing mentioned about this upcoming season. I've been to several games at Gillette and the last time I traveled to Gillette was 2013 for the Broncos OT game and I was able to get a ticket this way. I'd much rather try this route before going through stubhub etc.

Any information would be appreciated.

You can email the ticket office. They are very good at replying to any questions I've ever had. You can get the address from patriots.com in the "tickets" section.

Yep. On Monday, I bought 3 tickets in section 107 for the season opener against Houston. My ass is still sore.

I am waiting until the week before to buy when they should drop some after the public and waitlist sale when more go on the market

Thanks for excepting me into the community!
I'm an Irish Patriots fan, watching every week on tv!
I'm coming over for the Packers game for my first trip to Gillette and I was hoping for some help. I'm looking on stub hub for tickets and I just want to be able to find the best available, I'm not looking for club level or right behind the bench but I am looking for more "Bang for my buck". What area of the stadium would you recommend for myself and wife to be in?
I know it seems like a stupid question, just being in the stadium for a Sunday night game will be a once in a lifetime event. Looking forward to hearing from you guys #GoPats #DoYourJob

Hey Barry, I'm in the same position as yourself, coming over from Ireland for the patriots Vs Chiefs game on Oct 14th. Dont have tickets yet but hoping to get them from stub hub etc. Hoping the price drops the week of the game.

have you got tickets yet?

There are other legal scalpers to try such as Gametime, SeatGeek, TicketIQ, ACE Ticket...

How you liking it? It’s not on the level of B.B., but it’s still very good. Jimmy talking to Chuck in his house is getting very old though. Next season premieres in early August (the 8th I believe but you may want to Google it) and looks like it will concentrate more on the Gus/cartel angle.

Saw an episode Monday night. The Saul storyline is just starting to flatline, for me- I actually find the Ehrmantraut storyline much more interesting, and look forward to whenever the story goes back to him.

Yeah the Mike/Gus/Nacho stuff is by far saving the show. The Jimmy/Kim stuff is getting downright boring. I like the show, but it isn’t a hair on Breaking Bad’s ass.

To the guys looking for GB and KC tickets - these are both night games, and prices for night games drop moreso than prices for day games as the game date approaches. At least that has been my and my friends' experience... good luck...if we have bad weather for either of those games you might get in for "only" $50-$75 over face value...

I made my sojourn up to Gillette last year to watch the Patriots beat up on the Falcons. My only advice is to try and avoid the fog:D

Hi,

Still haven't got my tickets, waiting till closer to the date, the prices are crazy at the minute. Have everything else sorted I think, really looking forward to it after watching the pre season.
Let me know how you get on over there, send on a few tips!!

Where are you staying? I'm staying about 5 miles up on Route 1 and planning to get to the stadium early, about 1 PM anyway and watch the 1 PM games in a bar up there. Then maybe find some tailgate for 1-2 hours and then into the stadium at least an hour before kickoff, so I can watch the warm up's and get down the front close to the sidelines for a while.

I have been there once before, 3 years back for a Monday night game in late November. The packers game is early November so weather shouldn't be too cold but keep an eye on the weather on that week in case it does get cold, cause when I was there it got really cold just for that week and man the game was frigging freezing.

Has anyone ever bought tickets from the ticket office in the hours just before the game?

I ask because last time I was in Gillette we got 4 good tickets 5 minutes before kickoff from the ticket office at face value

For the other Irish lads.

Check ticketnaster Tuesday or Wednesday before the big game. That is when the other teams sends back the tickets that they will not use.

I bought killer NE vs Chicago tix using this formula. The game in Champagne, Illinois if you guys recall. For the record, Bears fans are great and fun to tailgate with. I have plans to go Chitown this season.

Just an update Barry, I'm going to Chiefs game Sunday night and just got my tickets in the last few mins. The prices on ticketmaster have been slowly coming down all week and we ended up getting 2 tickets in section 236 row 4 for $200 all in, including the $30 Ticketmaster fees. I used ticketmaster as the prices seems lowest and they had more tickets than ace tickets/stubhub etc. I could have maybe waited until tomorrow to maybe let them drop some more but we're happy with those tickets/prices and we're flying tomorrow so good to get it done. A tip for buying is to use Revolut so you get better FX rates compared to AIB/BOI cards etc.

So what’d we think about season 4 of Saul? I still like it but think they’ve got to speed it up already.

****SPOILER ALERT****

They can't speed it up. They practically are into BB season 1 territory now...the lab is almost done, the so-so chemist has been hired, Salamaca is already mute, and "It's All Good Man".

Not much left to show from the end of BCS S4 to the point where Saul is working at a Cinnabon in Nebraska.... I wonder if Walt and Jesse will make cameo appearances in the next few seasons?
