what a comeback. 4 game Yankee sweep. how sweet it is. its hard watching the game on espn. they suck.

That was a fun series. 4 game sweep of the Yankees, some great pitching, a blowout, and a come from behind victory against Chapman. This team fights until the last out.

For sure. Would have been a more competitive series with those two playing. Though the Sox would have been even better with Sale, Rodriguez, Devers and Kinsler.

Sure, you should want them back, but Boston is still playing well.

The Yanks have fallen apart. They just split series vs KC and some other crap team I believe too.

Just no life in them now. This slump really needs to end soon.

Just returned yesterday from a week on the Cape, so I was able to watch all of those games.

Observations:

The batting order is WAY too top-heavy. #s 6-9 will not scare the Indians or Astros, who will simply pitch around #s 1-5 (especially Betts & Martinez) enough to limit the damage they could cause.

The bullpen is rancid Garbage. Even their "all-star" closer sucked all week long, and his season-long production in close games is trending very, very poorly.

There is Nobody in their Dust Bowl-quality farm system who is available to help them anytime soon. As an example, I offer the Catcher who was recalled for this weekend's series vs Baltimore.

Post-season prediction: Sux beat Sewer York in first round, then lose to Houston.

Other teams (such as Houston) are having problems too.

I find it difficult to say anything bad about this sox team. They are doing everything very well up to this point in the season. The playoffs are a whole different animal and the team that is peaking during that time will represent the AL.

I feel the same way. they are winning me over. it's hard to criticize them when they are pounding the crap out of everybody. it looks like they are having a blast. much different than the last two years. time will tell. hopefully, they don't **** their pants again.

Boxer has it right. Any of these teams could completely bulldoze the competition, and whoever peaks at the right time will win it.

However Houston will be lucky to win their division at this point. Their pitching is still solid (though Verlander and Cole have been shaky recently), but their offense has been among the worst in the league for a while (26th in Runs Scored the past 30 days). Oakland has been playing great, and they're only 2 games behind Houston. Houston has to get healthy quickly or they're heading to New York for the Wild Card game.

They will **** their pants again. I don’t give a crap how many games you win but if you can’t win the big games then go home. This Indians series thus far has proven that. They will be known as losers in the biggest stage again if they fail again in the ALDS.

All of a sudden Sox bats are quiet when they go against decent pitching and coaching........losing the first 2 to Indians hopefully wakes them up...I liked moving Martinez up into 3 slot with Bogie cleanup........gives JD more chances/game.......Bogie looking good recently.

the entire season depends on chris sale and his health. they need erod back to pitching the way he did before the latest injury.

They finally broke out of their batting slump, but should have scored even more last night. This afternoon's game hopefully is a solid win.......there are only a couple of players that Sox pitching really has to be careful with.......HR's killed them in Game one....\
